My theory is that Vegeta's actually fighting Birusu off there in the sky while Uisu is hanging out eating and Vegeta's upset at himself because he's having trouble against Birusu.

It is really cool to see the rough animation; I'm eager for new info, so I don't mind if they're showing us the in-progress parts.

A development that would have made this movie *exponentially* awesome-r.

I love Willy's happy-as-can-be face as he's eating in those storyboards. And yeah, you can probably bet that Vegeta and Billy are fighting off in the distance considering there's one of those "impact shockwave" things in the background of that first storyboard shot.

And I kind of agree with you on the cameos. But I'm sure that they won't be the main focus of the movie - not to mention most of us in the US probably wouldn't even catch them without them being pointed out - so hopefully it'll be fine.

Slightly off topic, but I just had this bizarre epiphany...looking at that picture of Nozawa and the others again, she looks kinda like my grandma. .__o I think it's the hair mostly, but that's just eerie.

This is pretty much my stance on them. Knowing very little about Japan in terms of celebrities/idols/athletes/whatever, I wouldn't recognize a cameo appearance unless it was pointed out. So it really wouldn't matter to me if everyone besides the main characters was a voice cameo, as long as it wasn't a horrid performance.

Seeing the rough animation just makes me wish that if they release it on Blu-Ray or DVD (pref. blu-ray) that they include some making of stuff. I find all that very interesting and there isn't much like that in the realm of anime (or animation in general) out there, especially regarding Dragon Ball.

And that's why the cameos kind of irk me. The official trailers and flyers say the movie is what "all mankind" has been waiting for or something exaggerated like that, but they seem to be actually concerned about only local audiences in Japan and doing so stingy things that the rest of the world never catches or understands.
