I love some of the sexual humor in Dragon Ball and honestly it's tamed compared to the kind of stuff we see today.

I love this ero-humor, as I'm sick bastard myself. Also the general Japanese approach to this matter is completely different from our European culture. You know, they are not those puritans who sailed the ocean to the new world. That maybe answers why were the Netherlandian merchants the only one allowed in Japan when there was the isolation politics

I don't know how popular the ero-humour was with the fans. It all but disappeared later in the series when it got more popular.
I might be mistaken, but I think Toriyama said once in an interview that even the Japanese fans find his sense of humor weird sometimes.

By the way, what's the age demographic for Saikyou Jump? Is it much younger than what Dragonball had during it earlier chapters?

I think that some of this humor is more aimed on teen and adults in Japan from what I saw in TV and popular media, I can understand they maybe found it weird in kids' comic?
I always thought that the humorous part got simply erased because the genre is also changing as during the Piccolo fight the series transformed into Shonen and more serious tone. Never heard about the complaints.

There is even popular TV game show based on this kind of humor, can't remember the name tough.

I just read the fourth chapter of Dragon Ball SD and out of all of them I think this one was the worst. There was so much content packed into one chapter and it seemed to be all over the place. There is no explanation why all of a sudden Buu just releases smoke and unleashes Kid Buu. It just happens. Plus there is some Cell Games moments mixed into the Buu saga which I am not crazy about. I don't expect much from Dragon Ball SD but this chapter was the worst of them all. I even mistook Goku at the beginning as Goten and was wondering why he was Vegeta.

At least I wasn't expecting much from the chapter.
