Yeah... I've only watched the series, and that never happened. I'm not asking for spoilers, but was that one of the movies or something, or a bad fanfic?

IIRC, it happened in one of the old movies.

It was in the Death and Rebirth movie, which recapped the entire series and then had something 20 minutes of new footage. I think some of the footage was then spliced back into the final few episodes to creates extended versions. Don't forget, this is a show that has two completely seperate endings that might be the same or different or what.
Eva is very confusing.
(That scene was animated in typical Eva style, btw. By which I mean we just got to stare at a wall while we heard Shinji making some noises, and then we got a close of up of his hand after he finished. There are no words...)
(To be fair, the scene was supposed to make you have the reaction that everyone is having.)

Yo can anyone give me example dialogue of funimation's sub of kai, is it a constant repetition of damn and bastard like the dub or is it even more lame by avoiding using curses? Like are they still afraid to say shit in the new subs?

I'm not too sure, but I think the Kai subs are the same as the DBZ subs. So there should a respectable amount of cursing in Kai sub.
One example I can think of is in episode 50 and Goku says (yells) "see you in Hell, Freeza!"

I remember "damn", "monkey" and "hell", but Hell's a place so not really cursing, and Monkey's a way that Freeza calls out the Saiyans. Damn doesn't actually qualify as swearing, it's just a word.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

There are obviously different levels of swearing, but "Damn" is unlikely to be said by Elmo, so I think it counts.
The Kai dub seems to have PG level swearing (damn, hell etc), but I don't think it goes to the next level of swearing (which would be your shits and so on). It does have bastard, which wavers inbetween the two levels.

Yes, they're still being lame. They probably won't stop being lame. You might as well stop being a fan now.

Can someone explain the copyright issues with Kai's soundtrack to me? Also, what do you think the future holds for Kai?

Not to be rude, but

Downloaded. Frakking downloaded. Kai dub goes down 1 point.

Way to live up to what I feared for the uncut dub from the beginning!

They really don't curse all that much really when you sit down and watch it. It's more frequent than Z but it's not like every second or so.

Forgot about that thanks, just read it. Well Yamamoto definitely pushed his luck a bit too far especially with that Terminator soundtrack rip-off, though watching the original Japanese broadcast of kai right now I must say its a shame because his soundtrack really works. Hopefully this isn't the actual end for kai or the future of Dragon Ball TV series, definitely not satisfying to have the remastered manga faithful version of the Dragon Ball anime with an incomplete soundtrack, the remaining episodes maimed by a thrown together mess of the Z soundtrack. I always loved the video game music and actually made a topic about how they should use those tracks from the games to score the anime, and I guess I got that wish but then this kind of ruined it. Too bad, I do have the original Japanese airing with translations though so I guess that last episode will just have to have an anti-climactic change in music.

He clearly says shit. There's quite a bit of time after saying shit before he says that it's time to bust out his secret weapon.
Honestly I feel like half the time I post I'm correcting one of your incorrect "corrections".
