Your biggest problem with Dragon Ball logic

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

1) In Toriyama's own words DB is supposed to be easy to understand, so the whole deal with Vegeta and co. not being able to change their battle powers on Earth despite them 'powering up' and changes in power being noticed by the cast seems unnecessarily complicated. The cast are not scouters of course, but still.

I do think it can be hand waved with that comparison to soundwaves undetectable by the human ear, but able to be read by a machine(or however Bussani's explanation goes), but still it could've been explained better.
Unfortunately Toriyama is the kind of writer, who keeps exposition to a minimum(in some cases it's a good thing, in others not so much).

2) Weighted clothing lowering one's battle power doesn't seem very logical to me either, when scouters are supposed to work the way they do.

3) The lack of (100%) consistency in Buu's transformations, particularly how he acquired Piccolo's pants all of a sudden after the kids were ripped out. Either he gets the pants from every being he absorbs or Piccolo was some dumb special case. :x I just ignore it completely.
I also think his South Kaioshin variant should have had SK's clothes, but Buu might have blasted the clothes off him or SK could have ripped it off himself. It's also annoying that he didn't have South Kaioshin's hands, instead keeping his normal ones.

4) Super Saiyan fetus Pan :lolno:

I also dislike that Toriyama didn't do more with Krillin and Gohan's 'mind battle' and tried to explain it.

Well, they don't have any less evidence of loving each other than any other canon pairing that's not Godel (Gohan x Videl). For all we know Kuririn probably only wanted to be with #18 because she's hot... or because she'd beat him up if he left.

On-Topic: I think my biggest problem with Dragon Ball logic is basically what dbgtFO has mentioned.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

The fact that Ox King's mighty Ox Wang got someone pregnant, and made a regular size person. Possibly also the fact that everyone is capable of flying by "thinking happy thoughts", as if it were an uncommon thing. In reality, even Nam or Bacterian should be able to fly.
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!
