Besides Toriyama, who would you like to see write DB?

Togashi would so apt for dark plot.

Oda for creative storyline.

But none of them can match Toriyama's sense if humor, likable characters & insane action choreography.

Is Oda also a fan of manga's like Ashita no Joe, Ring ni Kakero and Hajime no Ippo? If hes not a fan of pure martial arts fighting manga's then he might also have hard time constantly drawing battle scenes in dragon ball and if he prefers his story to be more about adventure and comedy.

I personally have a theory, that One Piece will have something to do with Moon soon, so we may see characters travelling there, if it can interest you. And, I see that you are a huge fan of Saint Seiya.

But I am still not for Oda actually writing plot for DBZ movie, because even if the action goes to space in the future, One Piece for me just doesn't feel as DBZ, earlier parts of DB? Probably. But not DBZ.

Well, technically Luffy defeated Lucci with a bit help from Usopp, getting inspiration from his words. Luffy also defeated Enel with a help of Golden Ball (created by Enel himsef), Luffy defeated Moria and Oars with a help of a lot of shadows, and Straw Hats destroying Oars's bones. He also defeated Buggy with a help of Nami, and Zoro was the one to deal a final blow to Morgan. Doflamingo is currently fighting with Law and Luffy, and he is still winning.

But I agree. Luffy defeating most of enemies alone is lame. Moreover he one-shots them now. Imagine Goku one-shoting Frieza without putting any good fight in this movies. Yeah, it is that bad.

Weirdly enough I'd like to see Reki Kawahara write something for DB. They're best known for Accel World and SAO, while I don't dig SAO, I love Accel world for it's characters and the world it creates! Also the battles in Accel World are pretty intense, so I think we'd get a great balance of character and combat!

Other then Kawahara, I think Hiro Mashima would fit DB like a glove. He is known mostly right now for Fairy Tail but he also created Groove Adventure RAVE (Rave Master in the west.) It makes sense really cause I see a lot of Goku in Natsu at times when I watch the series.
