Actors are artists and so they try to make a character their own. Also if the Japanese and English actors sound differently isn't all bad. Look at One Piece where both the Japanese and English voice actors of Luffy speak with about the same high pitch, and that hasn't gone over well with people.
Not to get off-topic, but I think for the OP dub, someone like Greg Ayres should've voiced Luffy. Someone who sounds like a real teenage boy, without sounding like unrealistically feminine.
Back on topic, those UK dubs and Malaysian dubs were really f**ked-up and funny. Especially the latter, where it sounds like a couple of immigrant workers talking. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself!!)
But since hearing the Ocean clips, I would really like the hear the UK/Canada Ocean dub. Could anyone copy these eps. to VHS for me if I send them some tapes? (If this isn't allowed, just delete the post.)
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

I asked that a few people before. But they had no time or they couldn't copy it on DVD. -.~"
However, there are some episodes and clips of the Ocean dub on youtube.com.
I wonder if it would be possible to use He-Man's "I..........HAVE..............THE..........POWWWER!!!!!!", and combine it with the scene from the movie # 3, where Goku prepares to fire the Genki Dama, or the Spirit Bomb? That'd be even more hilarious.
Like
this?

I know it isn't very lip synch.^^

Oh, man!!
I thought that I was going to die, laughing so hard. That He-Man's voice sounds
exactly like the unknown U.K voice actor for Goku.

Ah, nostalgia...
I'm NEVER buying one of those. EVER. I borrowed movie 2 once, but that's it.

My personal favorite is Ian Corlett. I do like Schemmel as well, he's the only one IMHO that managed to keep Goku's child like behavior.

Also, is there somewhere I could hear Harmony Gold's dub?
