I do think that Goku went into the fight with that mentality, yes. Despite Buu's regenerative abilities, he does remark at one point that he could have won the battle early on were it not for his trying to look cool. That itself is when he talks about being able to obliterate Buu if he can have enough time to build up the necessary power.Drabaz wrote:Wasn't Goku strong enough to kill Kid Buu? He said he could of defeated him but he'd need a minute to "rev up" his "chi".
By "he could take care of it," I'm assuming that the "he" refers to Gohan, yes? Because Goku's remark at the time was in regards to Gohan not needing any assistance to defeat Super (Piccolo) Buu and had nothing to do with himself, a'course.Drabaz then wrote:Also, when Gotenks' fusion wore off inside of Super Buu, Goku told Gohan to not worry about the potora anymore, he could take care of it.
The wording is a bit unclear to me, so I'm just checking.
I don't know about "intentionally," but it strikes me as plausible considering what he must have been going through at the time.Drabaz next wrote:But regarding the original question...I really think that Akira Toriyama intentionally put in the dialogue, "I'm sorry...I spent all my power...I can't teleport...", so that people wouldnt ask questions like this.
