As much as Toei has screwed up aspects of things like GT, I have faith that they love DB enough and financially recognize the nostalgia factor of it enough that they'll do a really good job. :3
I was saying that I'd be surprised if DB got only a 5 min special because Naruto got lager ones in the past. I said that because I know Naruto isn't as popular as DB.
At its peak, DB was much bigger than current One Piece in Japan too. Even today, its licensed games sell much more than OP's and Naruto's.
Anyway, I am hoping for, at least, a 40 minute OVA. Even though seeing some important scenes with better animation would be nice, I hope this is just like a new movie, with a new villain and fight scenes.
That way, they'd be able to show more characters than if they focused on some small part of the original plot and it'd create more material for new games... >_>
If it does have an original story, I'm hoping it happens during the ten year timeskip, right before the ending of Z, considering how that's most unexplored timeskip. However, they'll probably just do another Buu Saga movie...
