Well, this game will probably have Oolong do his thing where he turns into a bat and flies away.
Psh I'll believe that when a blue goblin tries to capture the Dragonballs only to be foiled by an alien monkey.

In other news I'm stoked for this game.
Alien monkeys? Now that's just being ridiculous.

Cool new screen shots. The game play seems to be similar to The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass so I'm sure it will be a great game.

Hopefully, unlike Zelda, I won't have a dungeon that you have to go to multiple times.

Maybe instead of going to a dungeon all of the time, you'll have to find all seven dragonballs over and over again. That would be very tedious.

Looking at that Famitsu page Genki-Dama linked to, it seems there will be two modes for Goku: Nyoibo mode and Grappler mode (that is, hand to hand fighting). In Nyoibo mode you'd use the Nyoibo of course, which you attack distant enemies with. In Grapple mode you attack with punches and kicks, and can perform a total of 5 consecutive attacks. For both modes, you can make the actions stronger by collecting food in each stage, which give you "strengthening points" that you can use freely (I'd assume this means you can choice which mode to use the points on).

Well if that becomes the case, the creators can mix it up a bit. If you have to otain the Dragonballs multiple times, they can make it different everytime, like the show. So the tedious stuff can be done well if there is effort.

"Hell has frozen over" now gives me the mental image of Freeza and Cell figure skating on the blood lake.

The more I see the more I want to play. The landscapes alone are enough to make me want to play and look around.

While I'm not that big of a Zelda fan, I heard a lot of good things about the DS game and enjoyed the demo. So, assuming what's being said about this game being somewhat close to that game's um gameplay, looks like I won't be disappointed. I've always been more of a handheld player, which really limited myself to the DB games I could play. The only one I've played through is that GameBoy one and Jump Ultimate Stars, if that counts.

Like all DS games, one question that comes into mind is what the top screen will be used for. Some shots already show that at times it'll just be an extension of the "fighting area," but some shots show otherwise. From the Phantom Hourglass demo I played through, the map there was pretty helpful, so I'm hoping that'll be one of the options for the top screen.

... and of course, sword-wielding bears make for awesomeness.

I'm not too sure what you mean by this, but the Janken and the sword-wielding bear are both in the manga.

I've really gotta get a DS now.

Between this and Chrono Trigger, I'm sold.

Guys, don't forget the DQ remakes as well. It's looking like a great year for DS owners. Well at least on the RPG side.
