Do you know that Dragonball and One Piece are two of the biggest franchises in the history of Japan?
Not to mention that Eiichiro Oda, One Piece's creator, practically worships Toriyama, and draws a lot of influence from him One Piece's art and storytelling

Looking at the box in the background, the Chi Chi figure isn't part of the DragonBall X One Piece line, but rather a line called "DragonBall DX: Pichi-Pichi Gal Figures".

Not to mention that OP is better than DBZ anyway... (Yes, I get annoyed by other people writing stuff in small letters, yet I just did it myself.)
So anyway, that Goku-figurine looks cool as hell. Not that impressed by the other ones, but Goku with Luffy's outfit just somehow fits perfectly.

I don't know why but I "LOL'd" hard. When will this set of figures be released, and how large are they? Thanks in advanced.

They had better release a new #18 figure.

Checking the site linked on the home page, it looks like the crossover figures aren't the only things to be coming out for Dragonball:

- Chi-chi and Bulma figures from the Pichi-pichi Gal figures
- some awesomely detailed key chain figures
- more general figures (in particular check out that Kami figure  )

Good stuff all around. Though as nice as these figures are, the only ones I've got the slightest plans to get are the crossover ones :D.

That's one of the best looking Goku figures ever.

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be Piccolo Daimao. He has Daimao's color scheme.

That SSJ3 Goku keychain with the torn dougi looks great. But King Cold and King Vegeta for keychains seems like a somewhat strange choice.

Whoops, my mistake. What threw me off was what he was doing (is he being absorbed?) since I'm pretty sure that's never happened to either Kami nor King Piccolo... at least not how the figure's got it displayed.

I was thinking he was spitting up one of his eggs, but that thing at the bottom looks nothing like the eggs I saw him barf up in the series :?...

I'm buying that Daimao one as well.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I'm gonna go back to the DB X OP stuff.

But I don't know what else to add besides the fact that such awesome series getting together is the best thing Shueisha has pushed on for their 40th Anniversary.

I think he is supposed to be laying an egg. If you look closely, you can see a trail of mucus going from his mouth and covering the egg. It's a bit hard to make out, especially because with the lighting you can't really tell the egg apart from the mucus, which is why it doesn't look much like an egg. You can tell much better from the picture on the box behind the figure.

Another thing I just realized is that that's actually Daimao's anime color scheme. In the anime, his Kami-like outfit is shown as black with a purple cape like that, but in the few places where Toriyama has drawn colored pictures of Piccolo in that particular outfit (cover of Daizenshuu 3 and the kanzenban spine image), it's been purple with a white cape.

Wow, just wow. This is the 1st time in 10 years that I've actually wanted to buy figures. The Luffy/Goku pair must be mine!!

I'm guessing you've only seen the 4Kids version on TV. Toriyama & Oda (as well as DBZ/OP) are both cultural icons in Japan. Do yourself a favor, check out the OP manga or some OP episodes in Japanese. You'll thank me later.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.
