Right. Still like I said before just about everybody here is gonna go see it. Then were all gonna come back here to the boards and discuss for a few days. Then there will be a podcast about it. That's what it's all gonna boil down to.

I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.
If we're all here for a reason then I'm just visiting.

Of course you can. You can't say "The movie was horrible", but I can't imagine a reason you can't say "From what I've heard over the several months of this movie's production, details on the plot, setting and characters, and from what I've seen in promotional images and the trailer, I don't think this movie will be any good".

"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Twentieth Century Fox."
Well, that was quick. Glad I downloaded the .flv.

If people didn't think there was going to be "bullet time" in the movie, then you are living in a box or something. Almost all martial arts movies to come out in the past ten years have utilized slow motion effects to represent something moving at incredible speed. Also, Steven Chow had something to do with the movie, and his movies like Kung Fu Hustle and what not all have slow motion effects and weird camera timings.

But people aren't saying that.

Woah, I caught that vid just in time, looks like it was taken down very shortly after that last post of mine on page 3. Or while I was typing it up. Either way, I'm glad I caught it! And yeah, Fox are bastards on YouTube.

It's not that I didn't think "bullet time" was gonna be in there, just that it reinforces my belief of this production ripping off... more incarnations than I dare point out? *Conan whistles a Remy Zero song*

Hmh? Why are you so sure everyones gonna go see it? Why? Just because I'm a hardcore Dragon Ball fan I gotta go see a most likely crappy movie? What does this movie offer to the real fans besides being called Dragon Ball and having a few characters, with an unrelated story to the DB universe?

I watched it, like, 20 times probably. I think it looks cool for a teaser. It just supposed to get the General public hyped. And it is most likely not designed to be directed at us DragonBall aficionados. In fact, I know it wasn't.

DUDE!? How can anyone of us NOT see this!? Especially the people that took the time to watch "The Magic Begins". You GOTTA see this movie. Even if it's just to laugh at how bad it is! It's like the Giants in the Super Bowl. Yeah they was going up against an undefeated juggernaut team of cheaters (depending on how you looked at em) but I bet you every New York Giant fan watched that game!

Which barely makes any sense since most of the footage we've seen are screencapped and distributed all over the net already. Plus, their biggest secret; Piccolo has already been shown all over the net. Useless move on their part.

I just did, so my point is... it is possible to form an opinion of what you think the movie will be like without having seen the full length feature, whether that opinion is "I'm looking forward to it" or "I think this is going to be horrible."

I think my head is going to blow off. IT has already been discussed that the story is not that far off. I would explain but I feel like a broken record repeating myself all the time.

That's fine and all. But no one will take your opinion seriously until you have seen the movie.
Example:
Man 1: "I just watched RoboCop last night, it was awesome!"
Man 2: "Robocop, that movie is horrible!"
Man 1: "Really, when did you see it?"
Man 2: " I only saw the teaser trailer, and I thought it looked dumb."
Man 1: "Why don't you see it and then tell me what you think"
Man 2: "Why would I waste my time seeing something that looks that stupid!"
