It's curious that they're using the English word "God" in "Super Saiyan God" but the title of the movie uses the Japanese word "Kami" for "Kami to Kami".

Until I actually see the trailer so I know what the outfit looks like, I can't help but picture Goku in Madoka's goddess outfit (which also has wings) or some of the Precure movie-only winged forms. XD It's cracking me up.
I'm...95% sure it won't be that pretty though. XD


Unless I hear otherwise about the form not being unique to Goku alone, I'm just gonna call it "Godku". If it's something any of the saiyajin characters can somehow get, I'll use ssjg.

For "Super Saiyan God" they use the English word "God" (ゴッド) rather than "Kami" (神). Somewhat in keeping with how "Super Saiyan" itself uses the English word "Super" rather than the Japanese "Chou".

We know that the name is definitely real, as I sit here with V-Jump in my hands and the words that I gave Mike now up on Kanzenshuu proper.

We don't know what it looks like, though. The silhouette on the page is just a Super Saiyan Goku with torn clothing.

Battle of Gods has hit number 1 on CinemaToday's rankings. Must admit, I'm starting to become quite impressed by the marketing for this movie. The only thing that's missing is some decent merchandise.

Afaik, the new SSJ God form will retconned SSJ4 out of its misery. However, seeing the new glorified form will be part of the SSJ line but SSJ4 could be a "separate" form IMO as the form isn't existed in the manga.
