Interesting how these comments seem to be very similar to the comments of the people who bash and dismiss dragon ball and that dragon ball fans usually hate.

Naruto was good in its first part but then it dropped in quality and became bad. Bleach was also good in the beginning but it also dropped in quality and became bad. One Piece started slow and then got better and has been consistently good, even though it has an excessive slow pacing frequently.

Either way, whether we personally like those series or not, they were the "big ones" in terms of popularity and success, so the comic's objective is on point.

Dragon Ball isn't really a different beast from those three series. They're all shonen manga.

Personally, I like Dragon Ball and Bleach and find Naruto and One Piece to have gotten quite bad. It's all subjective, it's kind of silly to see people acting any other way.

Don't get me wrong I understand the significance of the picture.. passing the torch and what not. But what I was going off of is how overall Dragon Ball may have its Shonen traits but they aren't as cry baby in your face as Naruto or One Piece… Not too sure about Bleach.

Well they be shonen, but they are still different from each other. I seen people feel like that One Piece and Naruto have stronger writing for characters then DBZ did.
