This is looking to be really disappointing. I'll still probably get it when it's around $20 for trophies and to hear the Japanese voices, but in terms of pretty much everything else, I'll probably stick to the PS2 games.

So it won't be the greatest hits version? Oh, well..... Jesus.
I can't wait for the kinect.

Namco Bandai said the DBZFK was delayed for improvement, didn't they? That's good to know, they'll be improving the game.

Anyway, if FIFA 13 with Kinect features the ability to play with the gamer's body it might be even better than Kinect Sports: Season One - Football. But.. As it looks like, it's just voice commands.

I'm disappointed at the lack of Budokai 2 in the collection. I hated the board game story mode at first, but it grew on me. I can't be the only one who liked it can I?

It grew on me too, and it sounds like it grew on a lot of people here as well. But the fact of the matter is most people didn't like it and the game got a lot of crap for it. Namco-Bandai knows this. Seeing how that(...and the special characters... ) is really the only defining feature of the game, it got scrapped in place of the other two(more talked about) games. Plus, they need a reason to release "the complete collection" two years from now.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

While Budokai 2 got crapped on, at least the gameplay and graphics have aged better than B1, which feels incredibly basic and restricted now.
Jord doesn't have a avatar because the combination of Jord and a equally cool avatar would cause the universe to implode.

Yea but it has one of the better, arguably most talked about, story mode going for it.

What gets me the most in this release is what seems like a complete lack of effort, with an expectation of a huge return.

Episode of Bardock seems to be the hot thing right now....why not tie it in with the Budokai Collection as well? Super Saiyan Bardock, Chilled, Tobi, Cavira, maybe even Tarble and Hatchihyack? Take the chance to include content that never got released outside of Japan, like Kuriza from 2V? Anything?

Instead, it's just the same...except with changed music and shiny. Almost makes the Kinect game seem interesting...(...ok, not really, but still...)

I wonder what music they'll use in Budokai's cutscenes.

A mystery.

Some cutscenes would work better dialogue-only (Gohan Gets Furious) , others with (suitable) music. Let's see how this turns out.

The screenshots look pretty nice, I'll admit, it's becoming tempting to own it now. :P

I just hope the BT3 tracks in this game will have better quality than before, at least.

Hmmm. I wonder If it includes the japanese Budokai 2 opening from the greatest hits version, considering it says it includes the "original japanese voiceovers".

Hopefully, they'll consider the idea of a custom soundtrack for the collection later on in production time because I don't what to play Budokai with BT3 or UT music.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

I'd consider getting this if they did these to Budokai 3:
Add online play
Add Zarbon, Dodoria, 19, and Cui. Maybe Jeice, Guldo, and Burter.
Custom soundtracks. I hate the US BT3 music.

Xbox 360 - Definitely!

PS3? It's entirely up to Namco Bandai whether they permit the users or not to listen to custom soundtracks.

Only recently PS3 received the YouTube App which Xbox 360 got a while ago, maybe Sony will make the custom soundtrack feature available in near future.

They're not adding new content to the game.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

And by what's been said here, it's neither the Collector's Edition (US = Greatest Hits).

Funrush @ The US BT3 version featured the opening theme instrumental-only, whereas the PAL edition included the complete song with Kageyama singing it.

Let's just call it international (replacement) soundtracks because it's what they are (except for UT, it only doesn't contain Kikuchi's music side, that I can remember).

Bah. Then I'll keep my PS2 copy until my PS2 dies.
