Let's reverse the PAL speedup on the opening and the ending.

Thanks Murow for the uploaded HD captures, and thanks Puto for the speed-corrected versions.

The logo on the bottom right reminds you that only kids who are at least 10 years old should watch Kai, as it is too shocking for an audience below that age.
So only those who are in middle school are supposedly old enough to watch Kai without being shocked/disturbed by the content. Or so they say, anyway.

Thanks Doc ! It's nice to see you join us, welcome buddy ! :D
And, thanks Puto for the corrected version...The PAL system is really a crap, it ruins everything, as usual.

And I was surprised, because all the previous episodes of the French dub of Kai have been pitch-corrected, so I'm not sure why they stopped doing that. They weren't speed-corrected, but I can barely perceive the difference...pitch-correction is far more important for me personally because I can notice it so much more easily.
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

Strangely enough, the same thing happened with the Catalan dub, too. It was pitch-corrected only until the end of the Freeza arc.

It's about time we got clean versions of these songs. Many thanks. Also, Never Give Up!!! sounds a lot better in high quality.

^ Yeah, but now that we have them, our eyes are to be set on a new objective: the new ending Let It Burn.
Which is gonna give us a film/capture first? Korea or France?

Pretty soon, since the Japanese ending is to change in early October, the new Japanese ending should be announced too with possibly an extract being revealed way before October.

We have two endings to look forward too pretty soon: the 2nd international ending and the 3rd Japanese ending.
Be prepared.

I raised the volume of the opening and ending to what you would hear on a CD (or official download) and added cover art/artist info. Sounds much better in your music library.

Fight it Out!!
Never Give Up!!!
Larger cover art
Plus, here's the logo.

I wonder if there is even full-length versions of them. Four versions for two songs used in a television series produced on the cheap for an international market that more often than not pirates their Japanese animation? I don't know.

I can't make out the lyrics to Fight It Out! at all, but I gave a shot at Never Give Up.

Get up and let's go
We will both save the universe.
Stand up and move on
Don't forget ???
We are unbeatable
Cause we have families who love us.
We are unbreakable
Cause now we have a chain of heart (Not sure if that's right.)
We are what's wrong. (Again unsure if this is right)
Never give up for a dream and believe it.
Never give up ???
Gotta be tough
Gotta make it together.
Don't you know I want to stand by your side.
Better to try than to make no action.
Better to cry than to fake an emotion.
Gotta be us, gotta fight them together.
Don't you know you're the one who makes my soul complete.

Thank you for the correct lyrics. It is really hard to understand when it's a Japanese guy singing in English.

I'm sure even I can pronounce better than these singers. As a person who learned sociolinguistics at college, I have nothing against "non-native" English variations (Englishes in the Outer and Expanding circles,) but I do think that they should hire someone able to pronounce English at a commercially sufficient level if they're seriously aiming for the international market themselves. It's a business.

I think the singer for the ending has a decent pronunciation, you mostly naturally decipher the sentences he's saying like you would do with most English songs when you're a foreigner.
You can grasp that it's not a natural English pronunciation, but you can still quite easily write the full lyrics by yourself and have maybe just a few minor mistakes here and there.

But the singer for the opening is as hard to decipher as Kageyama, you can really here the opening over and over again and have quite a number of sentences that are like "????" with maybe one word you understood.
There are some parts that you understand easily ("And I'm so excited 'bout this feeling") but others almost sound like he's saying something Japanese with one English word here and there.

However, most of the population in France will not understand an English song much more than a Japanese one.
They will hear that the songs are in English thanks to a few words or bits of sentences, but they will find normal that they don't understand what is being said much more than if it was Japanese.

This is what I can make out of Fight it out, which really isn't much:

The dark clouds [???]
I'm so excited by this feeling, even if it's dangerous
[???] I'm the strongest of the universe
All I do is shout, and I'm ready to power up. Go, Kame Hame Ha!
Get ready, fight it out! Fight it out, to the end of Earth!
(Unleash the Spirit Bomb)
[???] let you down [???] fighting by yourself
Get ready, fight it out! Fight it out, for the dreams of Earth!
(Fusion, you and me)
Let's gather the power of our friends
Never gonna give up, fight it out [to a pace???]
To save our planet Earth, and I say
Go! Kame Hame Ha!
Fight it out, fight it out, yeah
Fight it, fight it out

Thanks Puto, but DongHyun already gave us these lyrics ;) http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtop ... 00#p804197
What an idiot...I thought that it was "We're the soldiers of the Universe", instead of "I'm the strongest of the Universe". :? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>[]
