Wow, those achievements are easy as hell!

I was worried there was going to be one for getting all the capsules and breakthroughs or something time consuming like that.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

I'm disappointed they didn't do anything fun with the achievements, but to be fair I don't really know what they COULD do that would be fun. Achievements for just progressing through the story mode of a game and unlocking everything are always lame.

Killing the rats and the jumps on GTA IV was challenging and getting a reward for doing both things felt sorta' good.

I never completed either because I just couldn't give a flying kite after a while of trying both.

I was actually hoping those were going to be achievements. If I'm going to get 100% completion again I want a little reward for it. :P
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I hope one of those secret achievements is to get a combo up to 34 hits. It'll force people to learn about cancelling, ki management and making use of the taunt.

Not necessarily, because it's easy to make such a long combo with that Dragon Rush thingy. If we're talking about Budokai 3, of course.

Without dragon rush I mean, lol. Though I can't remember anyone of the characters pulling off a 34 hit combo with just a dragon rush. Then again I never used it because it was a cheap tactic. I'm really glad they took it out in infinite world.

3rd form Freeza's Dragon Rush - 67 hits!

But not only 3rd form Freeza can break the barrier of 34 hits. With a simple PPPPE combination, the characters which Dragon Rush ends with multiple rapid-fired blasts can do this. And let's not forget about Cooler, Cell and Freeza and their multiple finger beams.

Thanks for pointing it out. I was thinking of their dragon rushes and I assumed they were the highest in terms of combo hits, I didn't think they were so high though.

US is getting the game earlier than in Europe? Eh, it's cool, I didn't play to pre-order the game anyway unless it cost around £9.95 / £14.95 (Zavvi prices).

I think the hardest achievements will be trying to unlock the Cell Jr's and Saibamen. I remember it took me a while to unlock them.

Oh, yeah.

I don't think I ever got Cell Jr. actually. He was the only one I couldn't unlock.

It would be cool if there were also Gamer Pictures unlocked at some point in the game to then use on the Gamer Profile, but I suppose it's just achievements.

I'm going to assume this isn't going to be released in Japan within 2012, which means 2012 will be the first year in many without a single new Dragon Ball video game released in Japan. You'd think Shueshia's contract with Scamco would specify their home region or something.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Keep grinding at Dragon Arena until someone suddenly breaks in...and chances are you'll unlock them if you beat the trespasser.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Yeah, and you had to be within a certain range of levels, and your opponents were supposed to, also.

It was fucking annoying. Worked at Cell Jr. for about a month before giving up on it.
