It's fun seeing what other people have to say. I think IW is the lowest rating that IGN give a DB game so far. I doubt they will game will get a rating lower then 3/10 on IGN.

Nah, they reserve 3s and below for good games.

I like IGN's video reviews, they're short and get to the point.. unless they don't know what they're talking about.

Edit: Today I've played a lot of Kinect games (demos + full), and either the room was insufficient or the games were not tracking the player appropriately. Nonetheless, I enjoyed them.

"Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth" (demo) it worked decently, but I was unable to punch, kick and do whatever special moves Hulk and Thor had.

I'm not saying Kinect is a bad device, it's actually fantastic, you can use your hands or voice and it'll take you to which menu or audio/video action, etc. Kinect does have potential, it's no surprise.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

Can anyone confirm if Episode of Bardock included on DBZ For Kinect is in fact in HD or SD?

Even if I were to get my hands on this game I couldn't tell the difference because I'd be playing it on a CRT TV.

IGN's official page of DBZ For Kinect: http://uk.ign.com/games/dragon-ball-z-f ... -360-77453

Btw, what's the point of Goten being on the front cover?

Why wouldn't he be? The background is obviously a home and they're playing with a Kinect. Bandai wants you to think this is a family-oriented game. It's very refreshing, considering the covers of other recent games.

That's just no ordinary home, that's Kame House!
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

No, but apparently this is better than God Hand and Double Dragon.

Was the Super Saiyan Hair a limited edition thingy or does it come with all Dragon Ball Z For Kinect games?

Didn't notice it but on Kanzenshuu website it states Episode of Bardock is in HD. Awesome.
Is Episode of Bardock available to watch immediately? Is it the full special?
Yes. The last menu option is “Special Movie”, which will immediately begin playing the special. It is the full 20 minute special, in high definition, complete with the ending credits (with no music) written in Japanese. Viewing the special does not unlock anything.
All that's left is Son Goku and His Friends Return and I'd expect it in HD too, for a 2008 animation I shouldn't expect any less.

Thanks for this, VegettoEX. :)

As of lately I've been watching Angry Joe Show reviews, lets play and whatnot and they're quite good and informative.

As I'm subscribed to him I noticed his latest video had a DBZ-ish thingy in the background, possibly from his Dragon Ball Z For Kinect review.

The majority of the time I have to agree with him that the games for Kinect's tech just aren't quite there yet, which is a shame, though, some work great (Kinect Sports, Kinect Ninja Fruit and a few others, I think).

Joe is a big DBZ fan. Joe said on the twitter that the game got him in the mood to re-watch all of the old DBZ episodes and the DBZ movies. Even he bought Budokai 3 and Attack of the Saiyans on the DS.

OK, this is weird, a couple hours ago I entered the competition of Dragon Ball - Games to win Dragon Ball Z For Kinect and now I checked, and I received the email saying I won it.

The people who receive the email are those who won it. Erm, strange, I'll wait and see.

Original:
Bravo, you have won,

Le jeu "Gagne ton jeu Dragon Ball Z pour Kinect !". est organisé par la page Dragon Ball - Games
Vous serez contacté ultérieurement par la société organisatrice.

Merci.

Translated:

Congratulations, you have won,

The game "win your game Dragon Ball Z for Kinect!". is organized by the Dragon Ball - Games page
You will be contacted later by the organising company.

Thank you.

Dragon Ball - Games page
I'm not totally excited for receiving an email saying I won because this feels like it happened too fast. But hopefully I won it and won't have to spend money on it. :P

Guess there's not too many people interested on this game or something. Makes it sort of a limited edition thingy.

- Great Intro (w/DBZ BGM)
- Good review (I don't exactly agree or disagree with him that the characters play the same because it happens on all Spike DBZ games)
- Great Ending (w/DBZ BGM)

One of the best real life DBZ videos I've seen (intro/ending).

What's disappointing, to me at least, is that he said (at 2:36) "if you want to keep making this shit, then we will keep recording, how bad they are for history" and then the narrator on the DBZ For Kinect trailer pronounced the Saiyan name properly, whereas, I think in his mind the narrator said it wrongly.

It's FUNimation's fault that their fanbase thinks the way Saiyan is said outside FUNimation's way and now it's pretty much impossible to fix this mistake that's been going for 10 or more years now.
