Now you just need the other 6, I've seen those around and have only seen them as a complete set not individually.

Congratulations on the Kai Blu-ray Season 4! ...but HOPEFULLY your collection is not complete and they will announce more!

Can someone who recently purchased the Viz English Translated Volume 1 show off some pictures? :)

Received the Hong Kong Blu-ray release of Battle of Gods in the mail today. The subtitles aren't perfect by any means (quite a few spelling errors), but it's nice to be able to watch an official subtitled release.

Very excited to get this in the mail today! I am starting to collect the Kanzenban volumes and they are beautiful! The paper quality is fantastic and the text feels sturdy and well made in my hands. I also enjoy the colored sections and the cover art! All in all one of my favorite Dragon Ball items that I'm happy to own.

Just to give you an idea of my love for this release I was working out in my school's gym when our mail lady let me know something had come in for me. I instantly knew it was this Kanzenban volume and ran to the mail room, picked it up, and started reading in-between my sets. I got some stares from my fellow students to say the least.

They've changed my life - changed the way I act on the earth. Doesn't that make them kind of real? They might be imaginary but, but they're more important than most of us here. And they're all gonna be around here long after we're dead. So, in a way, those things are more realer than any of us.

Very cool purchase! I need to get back to collecting the rest of the Kanzenban, myself.

I've recently started to collect DBZ laserdiscs and some of the ones I ordered have finally arrived, the English release of the first three DBZ films. I won't be able to test them out for a bit as my laserdisc player still hasn't arrived. I have a few more on the way and will probably post them when I receive them.
I also downloaded this to my Vita since it was only about $30 compared to $60 for the console version. First DBZ game I've bought upon release. I typically avoid them altogether, but I figured I'd give this one a go.

I've always thought about collecting the Kanzenban. I own the last volume for the new ending and the Trunks special, and the presentation of the whole thing is seriously impressive and nice to hold in your hands. Thing is, I can't read Japanese, so it's difficult to justify shelling out for 33 other books that I can only look at.

Those are nice! I've never seen any of the English Laser Discs, outside of DBZ Movie One. I've always wanted to own one, just to frame the cover art, but I've never been lucky enough to find one.

Along with my comics that I got this week, the owner of the shop also had the first volume of the Full Color version of the manga that I had placed an order for. It's really cool! I love looking at the manga in full color. It's some gorgeous stuff.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

I haven't gotten it in yet but I ordered the first season of the new Blu-ray :)
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Every time I tried reading the manga at school, be it the kanzenban or even the original jump comics, I've always gotten stares and comments like "you actually like that?..." keep in mind they never saw the Japanese version raw, subbed, and only knew of it as it aired on Cartoon Network.

I've actually been trying to collect the original weekly shoen jump of dragon balls run, so far no luck...

You should look back at them while their looking at those trashy magazines the media releases and be like ''You read that?'' :P

Haven't bought anything DB related in a while. Probably was just over a year ago, I bought one of the Dragon Boxes for a friend of mine for x-mas.

Dragon Ball Z - TV Special 2: The History of Trunks

Now I have both of the TV Specials in their original aspect ratio and Japanese credits. Sure am glad I didn't go Digitally Remastered ones because those are cropped.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Yeah, you know it is interesting with regards to the types of responses I get but it almost always is in good fun (almost). Wow, so much luck to your quest/endeavor of realizing the collection of the original weekly shonen jump run of DB. I remember there was this Japanese restaurant I used to frequent a couple years back (family run and small, none of that franchise business going on). One of the servers would talk to me about Dragon Ball all the time and how he was present in Japan when it was originally airing on TV and being distributed in Jump. I thought it was amazing that I had the chance to meet someone who was alive during the original run of DB. He was even going to show me some of his Jump issues that he had brought from Japan but he ended up going back because of Visa issues. :(

Damn! For that price you could've bought J-Stars Victory Vs. for PlayStation 3 rather than BoZ which is going to eventually drop down to £10 or less.

Just bought:

I'll just get the rest of FUNimation DBZ Movie Singles as I'd rather watch them in 4x3 AR than 16x9 AR regardless of what the intended AR was. Only 12 DVDs left, lol. :P
