Funniest Moment in DB?

I think it's established that Murasaki getting the pole through his rear is the single funniest moment in Dragonball. There's always something to chuckle about once or twice every episode, but that's one of the only scenes that had me rolling. Heck, I mean, even Gokuh was cracking up over it for a good five minutes.

Another little moment I found quite hilarious was Gokuh's stupid moment at the 22nd tournament where he's surprised that the announcer was able to guess his number (of course, he was the only participant left...) so he just has to reach in and pick out his number to know for sure, and lo and behold! It's the exact number! Gokuh's all like "wow, dude, that's amazing," and Tenshinhan makes some snide comment about the stupidity of the turtle school. Then Chaozu pipes up and asks what was so funny about the whole thing whereupon Tenshinhan tells him to shut up.

Actually, sailorspazz, you reminded me of another scene that I always find hilarious and that's during the actual real fight with Mr. Satan and Cell, if you can call it that! Mr. Satan starts doing his usual prancing around, bragging, and fancy attack moves at Cell and finally Cell just swats him away like a fly with a reverse knife-hand strike!! I think that's probably the only time everyone was happy with an action Cell took!

... I love you. You actually used the right term for that attack.

Hmm... a favorite scene of mine... I can't really recall very well, honestly. I guess one of my favorites (that I can remember right now, anyway) is when Goku confronts Ginyu and Ginyu does his sentai routine, only to find when he's done that Goku's trying to imitate him and asks (with his pose slightly off), "You mean like this?"

I guess I might mention more as I think of them, but at the moment that's the only one I really remember that made me crack up. o.o

Funniest moment? When Vegeta blasts Recoome away, destroying his armor, tearing up his suit, and frying his hair. It's the moment he emerges unscathed in that quirky pose that cracked the hell out of me XD.

I think I recall another one now... it's right near the beginning of Dragonball, when Goku and Bulma are trying to get Oolong to take Goku to the girls he's kidnapped. Bulma has Goku dressed up in girl's clothes so he can be the bait, but when Oolong transforms into this handsome gentleman, Bulma decides she'd like to come out and hit on him instead of going through with the plan.

Meanwhile, while she distracts the guy, Goku wanders over to a tree to take a piss... and when Oolong finally notices, the idiot actually sneaks over to see what's going on. A bit sick, but amusing nonetheless... ^^;

I should point out though that Wonder Woman's costume was designed with certain...bondage elements in mind. You have to feel sorry for superheroines generally though, since most of them look like they're heading towards chronic back pain in their old age.

I'd check to see what it says in the original, but those episodes aren't available on DVD. Stupid...er...Hallmark, is it? I forget who to blame.

One final thing on Roshi's potential paedophilia: While I can understand where you are coming from, I don't think it applies in Roshi's case, purely because he wasn't obsessed with kids. He was obsessed with busty woman. Now, Bulma might have been young, but he didn't want her to get her babs out and flash her knickers because she was illegal, rather it was because she was attractive. He's never shown any sort of paedophilic tendancies at all, so I don't think he can be accused of it. Granted, if Bulma was 14 and looked like that, then you could argue, but I actually think that being underage would stop Kame Sen'nin.

And as to the joke, well, I was hoping that I wasn't coming across as someone who thinks like that. Of course, the fact that most Americans can't stop sarcasm unless they are smacked in the face with an emoticon doesn't help. Tsk. You people, eh?

If I recall correctly, there's proof in the manga that Roshi is indeed uninterested in kids. When Goku and Chichi (in all her skimpy-armored glory) arrive on his island and he sees Chichi, he starts grumbling, partially about the nature of her name (and I think about the fact that Bulma wasn't with them as well). So he doesn't really have THAT big a Lolita complex... >_>;

Though, I have to agree with Cyberman: the "Vejito as a jawbreaker" episode is one of the absolute best I've seen. I especially love all of Vejito's taunts... "Didn't you want to eat me? I flew right into your mouth!"

And, and, and... when Roshi as Jackie Chun starts dancing at the (21st?) Budokai and Goku starts dancing with him. That was cute and funny at the same time. x333

I like when Vegeta acts really awkwardly around Trunks during the early Android Saga. I also like some of the things from the games, like the what-if fusions and also in the DBZ LSW Gameboy Color game where Cell says to Piccolo "My name is Cell. I'm your brother". That line was just so out of place that I found it funny
