It's not the FUNi cast for movie one. It was the Geneon dub with the Ocean Productions cast. I don't own and don't plan on owning FUNi's dub.

For Kai, I hope they fix as many as possible. Actually, they're all possible... But just some of the major ones like you mentioned would be good.

Oh, really? I could actually re-check then. I've got that dub on VHS, that should be good enough. Well, I gotta re-find the Dead Zone tape.

I might be able to agree with the rest of what you said, but spoiled? Expecting accuracy is being spoiled? Accuracy should be a baseline expectation. Plus, being spoiled with the DBZ dub is an oxymoron in itself.

I guess i'm just used to rougher times as a anime fan. I mean I would like kill to have a dub of SM that was even close to the DBZ dub in terms of quality. I'm pretty happy with the dub we got. but I would definatly be happier if it was more accurate. I'm not going to complain though.

Well at least the inner soldiers' names (besides Mars whose name stayed the same in both versions) were pretty close enough or fit the pun.

Trust me, in that dub, the names were the least of my problems with it.

Good lord, it seems there's NEVER been an English dub that could voice Freeza respectfully.

The Spanish dub did a damn good job of that.

So, Videl's voice was good on Z, but different on GT. As for Trunks on Ep. 289-291 and GT, he sounded like Mirai Trunks.
