According to last night's new episode of Kai on Nicktoons, Vegeta retorts Freeza's insult about King Vegeta with the fact that Vegeta had surpassed him when he was still a child, so while I don't inherently remember that line from the original, the Kai dub script is accurate, so...I'm going with yes.

The original line is Freeza telling Vegeta that he didn't even need to transform when he fought defeated "the king" (who's never given a name in the manga). It's then Vegeta who retorts that he surpassed his father while still a kid, so Freeza shouldn't feel too high and mighty about having beaten him.

But that's...exactly what I said ^^; I guess it's the fact that I said 'Vegeta' again instead of 'he', but if I said 'he', I figured it would sound as though it was referring to Freeza. Damn you, English language.

It's only 1 millennium, actually (not that they really ever stuck to that).

It's only a legend anyway, so that doesn't necessarily make it true. The legend says that the Super Saiyan should love bloodshed and stuff, but Goku's never like that as a Super Saiyan.
