I also think most GT characters are nowhere as popular as most fans make out to be. To me, Base GT Goku can't beat any form of Super Buu or maybe Kid Buu if he goes SSj or higher. Buuhan could beat GT Goku unless he goes SSj3 which might able to via powerscaling.

I think that

Frieza level characters are casual planet busters.

Super Perfect Cell level characters are casual solar system busters.

Boo level characters are galaxy busters (Boo is a universal threat because he is able to absorb and get stronger).

I know some people believe Z characters are a lot weaker or stronger.

The first one I think we can all agree on , but the second one is debatable and the third one there's no way of knowing.

Freeza in his weakest form was able to destroy Vegeta without much difficulty, and since his true form's maximum battle power is roughly 240 times higher, then casual planet busting should well be within his grasp.

Cell though is arguable. If you do believe that his boast was in regards to the entire solar system (some feel that he just had enough ki to destroy the sun, which would destroy the solar system), his attitude and boast suggested that it was a significant amount of his battle power that was being dumped into the Kamehameha. So while he might be a solar system buster, I don't find him a casual one.

With Buu, since there's only four galaxies in the primary Z universe (with Battle of the Gods introducing the possibility of others but no known number just yet), and Buu's not destroyed any, we don't know the full extent of his power. He's labeled a universal threat by Kaioushin, but that could simply be something akin to what we see Broly doing in movie 8 or the filler involving Pure Buu with him quickly and casually bouncing around from planet to planet. Since he, especially Gohan Buu, would be casual solar system busters, and Pure Buu does have access to the Kai Kai, it'd be very possible for him to quickly decimate a galaxy if he wanted.

Being a solar system buster at Cell Level--hard to say, it's hard to imagine rationally because Solar Systems are so much bigger than planets.

The general diameter core solar system (out to Pluto) is around 80 AU, or 7,440,000,000 miles, or 939,632 times wider than than the Earth. If you include outer bolides like the Kuiper Belt, it's closer to 100 AU, or 9,300,000,000 miles, or 1,174,539 times wider than the Earth. We also know energy requirements are quadratic, so you would need 882,908,295,424 to 1,379,541,862,521 times more energy to achieve that large of an explosion.

Can we really say Cell is 800 billion to 1 trillion times stronger than Frieza? I think its hard to fit that into the calculations.

That's assuming destructive capabilities scale linearly with battle power. Roshi, with a BP of 180, can destroy the moon which requires 30 Trillion megatons of energy. If it were to scale linearly we would have to assume the farmer with a shotgon can produce over 800 Billion megatons of energy. That's obviously not the case. The idea that Cell can destroy the star or even the entire solar system isn't too farfetched. Now, a Galaxy on the other hand... Yeah, I don't even think Beers can destroy a Galaxy, and even if he could, he's certainly not a casual Galaxy buster.

GAAAH! Please don't try to drag physics into this... I meant powers in relation to other characters. Debating physics and science in a series like this goes nowhere fast.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

It is fun though, the philosophy and physics in DBZ is one of its main drawing points to its fans. While the physics isn't applicable to the universe in many cases as long as it can be explained with internal logic, I see no reason why it can't be used in an In-Universe discussion.

Goten is stronger than Trunks in GT and EOZ
Oob is only at Fat Boo power not Pure Boo
Gohan of the Future never surpassed Namek Arc Vegeta(Post Zenkai he got from Krillin)
EOZ Goku is stronger than Birsu, Close to Whis, and basically Oped(Hence why I want Oob to be rewritten)
Yajoirbe has more hidden power than Gohan
Supreme Kai(After Kibito fusion) is on par with SSJ2 Goku at 75%
SSj3 Goku is greatly weaker than Mystic Gohan
Rage Boost Vegeta < Mystic Gohan

Yardrat Goku is not much stronger than full power mecha frieza, and future yardrat Goku defeated future mecha frieza with an instant kamehameha.

Piccolo >> Kaioshin. Piccolo wondered why he couldn't fight him, that's enough for me to think he quit out of respect.

Piccolo <= 50% SSJ Goku (CG). You want to accept it or not but he did held is own against the juniors. Hell I could go as high as 55%.

Humans in the millions by the Android arc.

I'm starting to go to the SSJ2 Gohan route myself.

I also believe that Gogeta and Vegetto are equal or similar; in terms of power. Also, I put SSj4 Gogeta as the strongest character in Dragon Ball Franchise [Unless Dragon Ball Heroes do something crazy].

I've also had Super Oob around Bebi Vegeta (First Stage). I don't know if that's an unpopular opinion; however.

I put Goku post Rosat when he is getting the senzu from Korin either above a literal 50 percent, or not that much higher than everyone else but their reactions are from calculating what 100% would be like.

What???
Rage Boost Vegeta < Mystic Gohan
This is explicitly shown to be untrue. Whether fans like it or not, Toriyama appears to be pushing the series to revolve around Goku and Vegeta.

I care more about VEGETA than Gohan. The story has revolved around Goku and Vegeta. Doesn't mean they are stronger

It does when Toriyama decides he wants them to be.

Yajoirbe was on Goku level without training and just living in woods. Then he surpass God and we know his lazy ass barely did anything.

Indeed its true. But I recall a Vegeta fanboy(he admitted it) working on BoG as well. Also Vegeta was a gag rage. While Gohan was drunk.

And Gohan soloed a space pirate with a power level of over a thousand with no training at all.

Why am I even arguing this seriously?

Vegeta's rage scene wasn't even remotely treated as a gag. What are you talking about?

1. Gohan is also a Saiyan. While Yajoribe is 100% human. And Gohan had rage boost.

2. It was treated as such. Once I get off my phone and onto Pc. I will show you interviews of workers saying it was a rather funny scene

Irrelevant. We're talking potential here, not why it exists.

Sure, they were teasing Vegeta with it after the fact, but it was taken very much seriously at the time it occurred.
