Or you could plant the idea of minus energy buildup in the Dragon Balls earlier so that even though they can wish people back any time, they don't know if this wish will be the final straw.

A clever device to call back upon Dragon World's destruction is to wish for a similar planet in a different location as New Namek was founded. The wish to restore humans back into the planet could go about in the same direction while simultaneously resetting Dragon World as a hot-spot for danger now that, "it no longer exists". It also mirrors Universe 6 destroying itself, dinosaurs roaming once more, and other small details.TheGreatness25 wrote:I'd probably take out the whole planet being blown up at the end because really, that would mean everyone dies. I'd probably just have the Z Warriors safe (I'm assuming the innocent people that Boo wipes out haven't been wished back by the Dragon Balls yet) and have Goku and Vegeta divert Boo away to another planet.

Re: If You Could Permanently Kill Off One Character...
Goku in Super has become more childish and annoying. I mean granted the guy was never the brightest of the bunch outside of fighting, but Super has taken it to a whole new level. He's more naive and gullible than ever before, I mean how can you not KNOW that Monaka is a wimp?
He is also very selfish. Granted Vegeta is as well, but when he decides to "test his opponents", by not going hard from the get go, it puts the Earth more at risk. I will never forget my facepalm when the schmuck gave Cell a Senzu Bean, or most recently he could have easily beaten Black if he went Blue God form instead of SSJ 2. He does it because he likes a challenge, and will put the Earth at risk just to appease his goals.
Goku isn't a real hero, much to popular belief. He is a country kid that loves to fight.
With that being said, I would kill him off. The passing of the torch to the next generation should have already occured by now. Plus Goku's character has become dull, he is not that interesting anymore because his character seems to be developing backwards instead of forward from a maturity standpoint.

I don't know why Toriyama won't use either Goten, Trunks or Pan in his place. It's probably due to his popularity though.omaro34 wrote:Goku in Super has become more childish and annoying. The senzu didn't affect anything. The outcome was the same and that's not a matter of luck.omaro34 wrote:Goku in Super has become more childish and annoying. I don't care about the passing of the torch. It's Goku's story and he's still in his prime. We already saw the passing of the torch when Roshi retired.

Goku is an icon and an international treasure. For people who have never sat down to watch Dragon Ball, I feel that a lot of them still would know Goku. My mom (who obviously doesn't watch the series) knows Goku. So why would they kill him off?

Exactly, which is why I'd rather have him dead than how stupid he became in Super.TheGreatness25 wrote:Goku is an icon and an international treasure.

If they truly have to keep using him, find some way of making him unable to fight new villains and give him a Piccolo like role.PsionicWarrior wrote:Exactly, which is why I'd rather have him dead than how stupid he became in Super.TheGreatness25 wrote:Goku is an icon and an international treasure.

Easy, SSJB + Kaioken consequence on his body, next time make it irreversible.
Goten could use more action, but he would need to become interesting, like Gohan once was,or the actual Pan which was the only good point in latest Super episode IMHO.

Or just write him better.SSJ Human wrote:If they truly have to keep using him, find some way of making him unable to fight new villains and give him a Piccolo like role.PsionicWarrior wrote:Exactly, which is why I'd rather have him dead than how stupid he became in Super.TheGreatness25 wrote:Goku is an icon and an international treasure.

I'm seriously hoping Super goes post-EOZ (although I highly doubt it) so we can get a comprehensive Pan in her tweens/teens.
Anywho, I already mentioned Omni-King, but I think I'll change it to Beerus if we don't get a good God of Destruction soon.

How many sagas will that be? 10? All kidding aside, I don't even see the series lasting though next year.Anime Kitten wrote:I'm seriously hoping Super goes post-EOZ (although I highly doubt it) so we can get a comprehensive Pan in her tweens/teens.

Me neither, actually. But it'd be awesome (for me, at least) if it did.
