Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Not many, the Dabura situation is probably the most iffy so far but unless you try to shoehorn in movie and/or anime facts into it, it's surprisingly solid.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.
How the Black Arc Should End (by Lightbing!):
Spoiler:
Absolute Zamasu(my name for their fusion) wins. He fulfils his utopia and dwells in his loneliness(x amount of time for this to happen). He starts to doubt of his achievements, Goku's body influences him to seek out challenges but there's nothing. Perfection becomes a curse. Absolute Zamasu starts to dread his existence and presents himself to the Omni-King, detailing on his actions.
Using his powers the Omni-King restores everything to the moment before Goku and Vegeta perish, humanity's last barrier. Zamasu concedes. He ask for forgiveness(mainly to Goku, Gowasu and Trunks) and understands that his justice isn't justice at all. He asks for judgement and the Omni-King delivers.
Trunks is forced never to travel in time ever again, all the time-machines are destroyed.

What's iffy about Dabura? He was beating down SSJ1 Trunks but got stomped by SSJ2 Trunks. Seems consistent, even if you can't decide if Gohan was ss1 or ss2 when he fought him
I'm glad then, it means there is a lot of more DB coming in the future.
Oh god I hope that is not the U.S logo for the series...
I'm hoping that logo is just more of placeholder. Because if it ain't... damn that look cheap and ugly.

If that IS the final logo, I hope they at least add some "special effects" to the logo, like golden lightning/golden flames behind the logo or something.
I would really wonder how he would react if someone lays down a copy of Dragon Ball AF in front of him to sign it. If he is not allowed to talk about himself being Toyble this could be a very uncomfortable situation.

I have the strongest feeling that Toyotaro will make that scene much more darker than it was in the anime. Or, rather, I hope he does. Depends on how dark he can get, exactly.
I hope Toyataro goes into more depth about what happened to everyone else. But I have a horrible feeling the deaths may happen off-screen, just like what happened with Future Bulma in the manga. I mean, that wouldn't be the worst thing to happen, but just adding in those darker moments make the story all the more better.
Honestly, I can't imagine Black would leave everyone Goku cares about alive. He'd probably kill them all off as a big middle finger to Goku from beyond the grave, and to ensure no one can use the DBs to bring Goku and his family back to life.
Personally, I would LOVE to see Toyotaro go into detail about Black killing EVERYONE Goku knows and cares about, but I feel like if he DOES take the opportunity to show Black killing everyone Goku knows and cares for, it'll probably be panel by panel. Like this: Gohan, Videl, and Pan in one panel, Krillin, 18, and Marron in another panel, etc.
...I would have instead wanted for Goku Black to be the one with the detailed death in the manga.

If it is, I like it. I'm a little surprised, if that's the final logo, that they even elected to change it at all, since they kept the kanji for Kai, but it's clean and I've always found the Super logo incredibly lazy.
Also, if it is changed, I'd bet it's Toei wanting something different for the international market as opposed to any local license-holder.

I also like it. It's a little gaudy, but from a design perspective, at least it's balanced now. The Japanese logo is so awkward.

Further evidence (as if we needed any) that Toyotaro=Toyble, since Toyble was also left-handed. There was an AF blog post where Toyble talked about how some readers had guessed he was left-handed based on the direction he drew cross-hatching, or some such thing.
