Maybe you mean Bardock?
He obviously meant Bardock, why are you correcting him? It's a bit douchy in my opinion. Not to mention that you're "wasting a post" just to do that.
As anyone got the DVD yet? Has it got any extras?

It's not out until next month. The March issue of Saikyo Jump (which the DVD is packed in with) goes on sale February 3rd -- the February issue only just came out last week.

Also, you'll definitely know when someone here gets this DVD. This community is infamous for sharing scans and any information we want to know once an anticipated release like this finally falls into their hands.

cdJapan's price is US$ 5.87 + shipping (what's the shipping fee normally for international users), if only this would be back in stock, I'd pre-order it because it contains two OVA's not just one.

"This item may become available again after the release date, depending on the publisher stock."
Just got to keep on checking back and then at some point they may have it in stock.
FUNimation hasn't licensed the 2008 DBZ Special or the DBZ 2010 OVA neither, is FUNi going to ever release these specials (sub/dub Eng)?

FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

It's not like they
don't want to their hands on it. It's just, apparently, stuck in licensing hell.

Darn. I was going to order it, but it totals $23 after shipping, and I only have $15 to spare this month...

Yep, copies are available for order at CDJapan again. And hey, if you want to help the site in the process, click on through with
our referral link and we'll earn... umm... something like 10 cents! Hurray!

What type of shipping do you guys recommend? Me being in New Zealand, the cheapest shipping is about $30, so is it still worth it? Or should I go and buy a bunch of old Funimation Dragon Ball discs off Trademe? I wasn't a big fan of the specials but I think a magazine like this would be a cool novelty, but on the other hand I haven't see much of Dragon Ball. C'mon guys I need advice, the clock's ticking on the auction and I only have a small amount of money to spend.
EDIT: Another question, how long are they gonna keep re-stocking this for?

And the Amazon.co.jp website still hasn't got a listing for the March issue of Saikyou Jump

Now that I was planning to order a lot of other stuff from them and hoping I could grab the chance to save money on the shipping charge
Oh well, I guess I'll play safe and order from CD Japan

I'm away from this site for over (or about) a month and I miss this animated special? I feel like I stepped into the Twilight Zone!
I can't wait to dig into this! (Thanks Youtube!)

So quick question - did we ever get a cast list for this special? I was just checking on ANN for one and I couldn't find it. I know Nozawa for Bardock and Nakao for Chilled, but I'd really like to know who played Tobi, Cavira, and uh...the father and child Plant...people. I think that's about it actually heh.

I went ahead and ordered one, 23 bucks for 2 OVA's isn't too bad of a deal in my opinion.
..Though I didn't exactly love either of the specials. Oh well.

Found it, thanks. It'll definitely come in handy in the next few days for me.

Just put in an order for my copy. $39.00 W/ shipping....
...Y'know what, I really don't care just so long as I'm getting it. After I saw those pre-orders go *poof* , I didn't feel like missing it again.
EDIT. Also, I like how FedEX is faster and cheaper than EMS.

Is it actually going to have any english subs at all? I want to order it, but I just can't warrant or afford to spend that money importing it if i'm not going to be able to understand it when it gets here.
I loved the special it had some real twists in it, I must say it was really interesting... i feel so weird, as i have not been on daizex for what seems like months... and then wow a new special! Those aliens, really reminded me of Tarbles little wifey from the 2008 special. Not sure why, but they just do.
