If I recall correctly, he also had an SSJ2 transformation in Budokai 3. I guess it's another way this game is an updated version Budokai series.Woo!
First post.
Well come!

Actually It is more likely that because he has short hair in that outfit that the USSJ transformation just looks different, whereas in the Saiyan Armour his hair resembles Broly.

Actually, I believe it was Budokai 1. But, I can't be too sure, I've been busy with BT3
I'm sure there are going to be some what-ifs in this game, but this is quite a stretch...the SSJ2 form that Trunks had was just a typo, if I remember right. But this one looks like it's intentional.
Hm, food for thought.

Haha, believe it or not, yes. It's the first Sparking game I've picked up and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. However, Budokai is more my league, so I'm really looking forward to Burst Limit. :)

Hasn't Trunks always had a SSJ2 transformation in the Budokai games for some reason? But i still stand by because of the costume it looks different due to shorter hair than we originally see it. Reminds me of his hair when he goes back to the future to destroy the Androids and Cell.

If you listen closely, it's like some sort of overlay track. You can hear the actual music in the background O_o

It was always the whole " He went Super Saiya-Jin 2! " argument, when he didn't, he just went Asscended Super Saiya-Jin 2.. whether Dimps gave us a What-If, or were confused about the situation, its never really been officially stated.
But it doesn't matter, as a What-If or a fuck up, SSJ2 Trunks is badass as shit.

That fight was boring. Did Donny Clay play that round?
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Anyone got any ideas on what Ultimate moves #17 will have as we haven't exactly got a lot to go off from the manga or the anime.

Probably the same sorts of things he gets in the other games. I think in Budokai he would team up with No.18 to attack the enemy. Since Burst Limit seems to largely be an up-date of the Budokai series, he might have something similiar.
I can't remember what he had in the Sparking! series.

A combo, or team combo with 18 maybe? Creative offensive use of his barrier? Generic ki city destroying ki blast (charges up, switch to pan out view of dome of ki erupting)?
It'd be awesome if he just hopped in a car and busted a cap in your ass.

In 3 he has the anti-Gohan combo. 18 comes in, they lay into the opponent, then fly above and do a barrage of blasts.

I was thinking about a combo with 18 but this game appears to be more Shin Budokai style and 18 in those games had accel dance but there were no 17 to team up with, would he have the same but with no 18?

lol, completely off-topic(ish), but on Atari's official Burst Limit site, they use a Dragonball to indicate the loading times. When it's almost done, it becomes a Nine-star Dragonball o_O
