Finally got around to picking up Z Season 9, GT Season 2, and the movie 12/13 double feature.

So Z and GT are finally complete. Now I just have to spend a hundred or two on the upcomming 4 or 5 DB sets
I should probably just sell my complete GT and assorted movie singles aside from the Pioneer ones, as I've little use for them now.

Herms, please tell me where you bought Daizenshuu 8 for $10-15. I really don't wan't to fork out tons of money for 8 and 9 on Ebay because I, like you, do not care for card games. I just want them so I can complete my Daizenshuu collection.Herms wrote:It's not so bad in the manga, but the anime really takes it to an absurb extreme, or at least some of the animators do. But anyway, DragonBall. The last thing I bought was Daizenshuu 8, the first Carddass one. I bought the second one from Tanooki Kuribo awhile back, so now I have all the daizenshuu. I don't care too much for card games, but I am quite a completionist, so it was only a matter of time before I bought it. At any rate, some of the pictures inside are nice, and it has a nifty feature where it shows you where the manga, anime, and movies were up to when each series of cards was released. And best of all, I managed to get it for fairly cheap, about 10,000-15,000 yen or so ($10-15). I bought a bunch of other stuff with it, so I don't really remember the exact price.
Gohan: At least he doesn't have his sword out anymore.
Kuririn: Yeah, and your dad put his finger away too.

Yeah, I like most the Super Battle Collection figures, these are the classic..... It's a half of year now, since I was purchasing the Goku with interchangeable heads Vol. 000 from this series on eBay..... sadly, never arrived, so I lost some money for nothing

Mandarake in Nakano, Tokyo, to be exact. Best place for manga and anime stuff in all of Tokyo, as far as I'm concerned.
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?

A word of advice, ebay is full (a good 80%) of bootlegs of these figures. Before you buy any gashapon from ebay you better be very cautious and know that the seller is legit. The bootlegs are actually very close to the originals which makes it really hard to tell when you're buying these. You should mostly stay away from any and all sellers from Hong Kong, China, Singapore and the like. Japan sellers are almost always legit, and there are a few good Hong Kong sellers but you have to know which ones.RoarkVegeta wrote:Wow! I saw those on ebay...Mike wrote:snip

Purchased some stuff from there years ago. Very good company, although, they don't run a Dragonball specialty store, anymore. It was the best place for authentic Japanese Dragonball products for a time. They still have a good selection, however, and decent prices.
