For such a high budget movie this is unacceptable .
Or they do have an opening & ending theme but they are gonna use them only when the official premiere takes place
( 30.3.2013 ) and in the Dvd version as well .

I honestly reckon it makes the film more cinematic if it doesn't have an opening. If Battle of Gods had a standard opening animation then it would probably feel more like a TV special.

Well, he did post this bulletized summary of part 1 earlier.
He said he will send a detailed summary to the Kanzenshuu staff for them to work on and then post on the main site eventually.

Openings are for TV series (and they are more and more replaced by simple title cards).
Movies don't have one, not live-action movies, and not animated movies like Pixar and Disney and others either.
People at the cinema are not here to spend minutes hearing a song while watching what looks like an animated music video that doesn't make the plot move on.

For the new opening, head for the upcoming Dragon Ball Kai, not Battle of Gods.

Also, regarding the theme... I don't see what the big deal is. Movie 13 felt more theatrical without one and how many movies do you go see that have a theme before the movie?

I know the combination attack itself isn't in the movie, but is Goku's new Kamehameha based on one from the film?

Just bumping this again because I'm a bit more than curious if they just made up the attack or if it's inspired from the film...

In the Alternate Timeline, it is revealed by Future Bulma that he had passed away sometime before Age 780. However, it is unknown what his cause of death was, he could have been killed when the Androids destroyed West City or from natural cause.

Guess that was an anime scene. Still hes nowhere to be scene 17 years later.

I don't remember that from the anime either. What episode is that said in? Is it part of the original dialogue or something from the Funi dub?

Well I just checked in the special, nothing there. It has to be in the anime.
