Want to buy DBZ2V...
I'm a collector and a DBZ fan myself, so I really want this.
If any of you could offer it up to me through PM and name some prices it'd be much appreciated.

Rarity doesn't necessarily equate to value, nor does demand equate to insane prices. All of the games I've seen, the rarest of the rare, have never had more then a 100 print run and broke 500 dollars at the same time. Just because it's in demand doesn't make it worth more then a used car. The only games I've seen break 500 are Stadium Events and Nintendo World Championship for the NES, which have had years of hype and demand under their belt, and 5% the print run of this. I understand it's valuable, yes, but 700+ is insane.

Panzer Dragoon Saga and the original Chrono Trigger cart are two of the most expensive games I've traded online, and they don't run any more than 300$. I really doubt this game can be much more than that, no matter how rare it is.. People just don't pay that kind of money. Even if the demand is there and the supply is limited, it's just not worth that kind of money.
I buy and sell rare games online, and I'm just saying.. If you payed any more than 300$, you got ripped off big time. Sadly, after doing some searches, I'm not finding the game anywhere, so I can't give an actual price (probably eliminating the legitimacy of my argument).
PZT: I can't find anything for you at the moment, but I've got a buddy who specializes in this stuff (he runs a video game rarities shop and does a lot of business online). I'll see if we can help you out, and I'll send you a PM if I can come up with the game.

The only people I know of who own the game are Genki [genkidbz@wanadoo.fr] and Kame Sama Explorer [kamisamaexplorer@ig.com.br]. There was one other guy who posted an image of the copy of V2 that he had in this thread, so you could look through it for him and send him a message.
By the way, what does your collection look like? I've always been intrigued by the hordes of stuff other people have that I want... you should post some images of your collection here!

I don't think it'd be relevant for that thread, I'm a game collector rather then a DBZ collector. I own a few PS2 games, some GBA and DS games, and a junk copy of Legendary Super Warriors. My game collection is much more impressive though, I own 110 NES games and 54 Genesis games. Thanks for the help Rambo.

Damn this game is harder to find than I thought it was.. Even my buddy who runs the game store is having trouble locating it. I may have to retract my statement of it costing less than 300$... It just might be that much after all. Don't know for sure yet, still looking...

Here's another site with some more nice images of the packaging and the booklet and such. It's all in Portugese, but the pictures are pretty!Son Wukong wrote:I got into the dragonball video gaming world pretty late so I don't know what you are talking about. I got Chrono Trigger on SNES for I believe 50 bucks two years ago. It's in mint condition too, but no box or instructions.
The most I ever payed for a rare game was for Castlevania Chronicles on PS1 (I am a fairly avid CV collector as well) and I payed 100 bucks for it brand new, even though it was 20 bucks when it first came out, I didn't even know about it till it was too late, and I don't buy used games unless I have to.
