Does anyone remember this old advent?

Post by Sshadow5001 » Sat Mar 21, 2009 8:06 pm

I don't have a Link but i remember most of the word from it

it aired in Europe but not sure about America and was playing around the time season 3 was first playing on Cartoon Network

I dont remember the beggining but it goes like this

Voice over: after 3000 years a Super Saiyan has arrived and is determined to put an end to freeza's rain! Is he the saviour!
Gohan: The Legend, My father, a Super Saiyan
Goku: I am the hope of the universe, I am the protector of the innocent, I am the light in the darkness, I am truth
Voice over: all is revealed in Dragonball Z weekdays and 5:00 PM Only on Cartoon network

the funny thing is that they actually pronounced Saiyan it correctly

Wow, that was very weird. As I saw your topic title I said to myself the line "after 3000 years a Super Saiyan has arrived...." hoping you'd mean that advert as I haven't heard anything of it since it aired in 2000 or whenever. So yes I do remember it, and have tried many times to find it on Youtube but it appears to have been long forgotten I'm afraid, unless anyone has it on old video tapes.

This website has a lot of those Toonami promos.. All of them I think.. I couldn't find the one you're talking about, but maybe you can sort through all of them and figure out which one is it.

Thanks to someone else from this board for the link. Don't remember who it was, but I found it in another thread.

Doesn't have all of them. They're missing the commercials recorded with Don LaFontaine narrating the plots of the movies for their premieres on CN.

They have the Tom narrated versions. :(
