The plot will be re-written to make it close to the original series. and that mean:
No high school crap, Goku's not a playboy, Fu Lums and Mai will be replaced by "Normal" Piccolo Henchmen, More expostion and Piccolo's history, Muten Roushi lives on an island, Kuririn will be introduced. etc.
The designs will follow my own drawing style rather than immitating Toriyama's designs
So far, I've done Goku, Piccolo's close-up and one of his henchmen
Goku:
He is about 15 or 16 years old ((His head is a bit too big, will be fixed)). Not too young, and not too adult. I'll try to keep his original personality as close as possible
Piccolo:
Wonder why I gave him red eyes? 1- He is a Great Demon King. 2- Piccolo's eyes are red on the cover of vol. 16
A full body illustration will be made soon
Contra
One of Piccolo's henchmen. a hybrid between Drum and Dodoria. His name is a pun on Contrabass
The chapters will be black & white, exept for maybe the first page or two will be in colors
It'll be a tough job for me... as I have another weekly series with not less than 16 pages a chapter
When will I start? When I'll buy the DVD and re-watch it... although I don't think I'll need to...!!

Some plot points I thought of: [SPOILERS]
- Piccolo's henchmen attacks Gohan at home while Goku is going fishing away.
- Goku meets Chichi by finding a Dragon Ball and "saving" her from something.
- Muten Roushi visits Karin in his tower for a new sealing jar
- Piccolo knows who are the Saiyens, and Goku is one of them
- Goku turns into a Super Saiyen 4 - esque form
