Daizex Marketplace [Forum Idea]
Daizex Marketplace [Forum Idea]
Hi there.
Am I aloud to suggest an idea for the forum? And is this the right place?
The "New Section Previews" http://db.schuby.org/daizex/viewforum.php?f=9 wouldn't let me post in it...
Seeing the "General Discussion" get's filled with topic about people moving and selling their stuff, about, where you can by different Dragonball related stuff and those kind of topics. Maybe there could be a small sub section somewhere at the forum.
It wouldn't not just help too keep every thing in order, But maybe it would also be possible to make look-out threads...
It could be, "Please write here if you see a jump magazine from 1991."
Or in general, "Does anyone have ____ item?"
You'd be able to ask if anyone had seen an item for a better price... (The world wide web, is... Big)
Sorry if this is a bad idea.

Good idea. I like it.
New to the forum? Just want to know when you'll hit your next posting rank? Ever wondered why some users have special titles, and what they mean? The answers to all these questions and more are waiting for you in the Kanzenshuu Member Hierarchy Guide!!

I don't understand how posting at least 20 times means you're trustworthy.SweetCosmicPope wrote:There's a forum I'm part of that has a Marketplace forum, and you have to have 20+ posts to sell, as well, so that you can be trusted.
I mean, the guy who set up the forum for us (not schuby, himself) screwed Corey outta cash...

Well, it's still a "buy at your own risk" kind of deal. However, it helps weed out people from joining the board just to pimp their wares, and people who are real contributors tend to build a bit of a repore with one another.
The one problem we tend to have is that we'll get people making nonsense posts to get their post count up, replying to posts with "cool" and "4 RLZ DAWG! FTW!"

But I mean we already have the buying and selling here at the forum.
It would still work as it does now, with it being up to seller and buyer if they wanted to make deal.
I'm not saying we should turn this into somekind of Daizex Ebay. With fancy paypal points.
But how dare you to come here and not to reply on my idea?!

Ja, on the Import Forums you have to have at least 100 posts before you can even reply in the Trading Post section or to enter a competition. When I asked why this was, the reply I got was that it shows that you're here to contribute and stick around instead of just joining for free stuff...VegettoEX wrote:I don't understand how posting at least 20 times means you're trustworthy.SweetCosmicPope wrote:There's a forum I'm part of that has a Marketplace forum, and you have to have 20+ posts to sell, as well, so that you can be trusted.
Well, whatever floats your boat, I guess...

We've got the "Selling stuff to get DragonBox" thread going right now. I think a simple thread (perhaps stickied) would suffice.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
