Well, it is a deal. Too bad I already own too many of those for it to still be a deal to me. :(

I saw a bunch of these auctions earlier.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Same here.. I would be all over this auction if I didn't have to worry about selling all my doubles afterward.

...Why not just buy VIZ's boxsets? Same price for brand new+boxes/cases to keep them in.

Hey, this is how I got all of my mangas!
It's always good to catch a steal on eBay.

If you ordered from Rightstuf, getting both of those boxes would be $228. Not much different to ordering the individually, actually. So long as the bidding doesn't go up that high, it seems like a good deal.

And if you bought them both on amazon it would be about 220 bucks. If you're tight on cash, a 70 dollar difference sounds pretty high for a couple of cardboard cases to keep them in.

WTF? Why are they so cheap in Canada, then? Even Amazon.ca, which by far the most expensive place to get them, is $20 cheaper than the US version. It should be the other way around!

In that case, ignore what I said earlier. If they're in "Like New" or "New" quality, $150 US is a good deal.

Nice deal, a bit surprised no one bid. Guess the combination of the holidays/economy/feedback has something to do with that.

Personally I prefer the new Vizbigs over the original. I know the Vizbigs are edited but the paper quality seems to be better and the color pages are a nice bonus. Too bad Viz keeps on delaying them.

To be honest it could be something to do with the guy only setting up his account on the 2nd of July 09 and having no feedback whatsoever. It's a good deal but a gamble that he isn't a con-artist preying on fans like us.
Maybe it's just me being paranoid, I guess everyone has to start out somewhere.
