In the current generation of consoles, downloading classic games for a reasonable price is very common. Virtual Console, XBLA, and PSN are great, but where are the DBZ games? Virtual Console has several games that were formerly import only. Releasing translated DBZ classics would be easy money for Namco Bandai. What do all of you think about this, and which games would you like to be available?

Shin Saiya-jin Zetsumetsu Keikaku parts one and two. :D

I guess Dragonball: Dragon Daihikyō as well, simply because of its rarity.

It was the very first Dragonball game ever released, and it's for the Super Cassette Vision.

The Super Butoden series and Hyper Dimension are the most obvious choice.I'm in the minority here but I'd like to see the Gokuden series be translated too. That's a real long shot though seeing as how that game is mostly text and the American audience would have little to no interest in a "choose your own adventure" like game.

I've heard so many good things about Super Butoden 2. I really want to play it! Virtual Console is there, Namco Bandai, use it!

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

I think that the best of Super Butouden series is Super Butouden 2, for the same reeasons that Kunzait_83 wrote. Butouden 3 is mostly underrated because of lack of Story Mode and most blonde roster of characters.
I think it's great game too, looks like Butouden 2 but have faster paced battles.... On other side I think it's like they made a weaker version of Butouden 2, because I really enjoyed the Story Mode and looking forward for a sequel, then I think that the energy blast are looking worse then in SB2 and less graphicaly effective.

PS: is there any way to read the SB2 story mode in english? I only played japanese version and know that english version doesn't exist

It's actually the second Dragonball video game to come out (less than a month behind Shenron no Nazo), and was the only DB game for the Super Cassette Vision platform. Here are some images:

Ah, my mistake. I saw 1986 and automatically assumed so. That'll teach me not to trust Wikipedia.

Well, he's Brazilian, and his English seems to be a little broken (or at least was at the time). He seems to be saying that it was the first game for the console ("This is the first Dragon Ball game lauched for a console system"). That's just how I see it, seeing as how he lists the game's release as after that of Shenron no Nazo on his site.
