Dragonball "Firsts"

Dragonball has done tons of things that were not being done in the manga world, during its serialization. It's opened doors for series like Naruto and One Piece and also introduced the world to a certain two-hand attack-gesture. I made this thread so we could discuss the things that Dragonball has done that no one else had, at the time. For example, Sparking Neo! was the first PS2 fighting game to include "120+ fighters". Any other "firsts" that you guys can think of?

aliens, humans, dinosaurs co-existing in a futuristic world of domes and flying cars?

bringing spirituality to a more mainstream level with meditation, auras, ki, energy harnessing and channeling (though destructive instead of healing)?

DragonBall was the first to, in fact, be DragonBall. There was nothing else like it when it was new, so I count that as the most important "first" of them all.
