The DaizenshuuEX Forums *and* the FUNimation Forums?

I'm interested to know just what sort of a ratio we have going here. Do any of you share discussion between this board and the FUNimation Forums-- specifically the DragonBall Universe subsection-- on a regular-enough basis to be considered an active member of both?

If so, what moniker do you go by on the FUNimation side?

Personally, I'd like to get to know the FUNimation Forums a little better, if only because members such as MagicBox have proven themselves to be outstanding members of both communities. The problem is that I spread myself so thin amongst special interest forums that I never have the time . . .

I think this is the only English DragonBall board I'm active on.

Eh, I go over there sometimes, but I am not nearly as frequent over there as here at Daizenshuu EX. I think the lack of a grammatical requirement is the main cause for this...

Also, I go by Metalwario64 over there as well, and if you see that user name on any other site, chances are it's me (unless sum n00b stoll mah nayme!!1).

This is the only Dragon Ball-related forum I have ever joined and I plan on keeping it that way. All the others are generally... erm, less than favorable, to put it lightly.

I sometimes go over there and post. It used to be more often back when DaizEX would go down around this time of the month. I would use the FUNi forum as an alternate. Since we haven't been running into that problem lately I've not been over there more than a few times.

I used to go to the FUNimation forums but now I never do. This is because I want to talk about the Japanese version of the show as opposed to the dub. DaizEX is the only messageboard where you can do this without getting the clichéd responses of:

'Goku has a high voice so I don't watch it.'
'I don't want to read subtitles and watch at the same time.'

Haha! Oh, you speak the truth all too well.

It was either there, or 4Kids! forums, but I got a link to a thread were a bunch of children were posting about how "Sonic was real" and about how they saw Sonic under their beds and in their closets... Someone even said they saw Amy and Sonic at the local park together once...

Sad.

I registered to make a comment about Dr. Slump possibly being dubbed, but that's it. It's a forum for an official company. Those types of boards are terrible nine times out of ten.

I don't think I've ever posted anything on the FUNimation forums (I have read a few threads), but I have on the Atari forums for Dragon Ball games. jda95 over there, as always.

Except for on Youtube. Some guy from Hong Kong stole my name......

I do due to the recent news about we getting Dragon Boxes. If you wanna know who I go by at the Funimation forums, its Comics_Addict. Then again I guess since my account is so old here that its the only one where I don't have that user name.

I am indeed a member of FUNi's forums, and have posted a few times. But really, all I'd be participating in is topics about new or upcoming DragonBall releases, and I already do that here. Usually even sooner than FUNi themselves announce them. No point, really.

There are people like that in every fandom. Have you ever image-searched "Dragon Ball Z" with the filter off. Avoid.

Bulma and Chi-Chi alone I can understand. But why have Goten and Trunks with them?

I can't even understand Bulma and Chi-Chi. They aren't drawn very attractively in the original manga or anime. Especially Chi-Chi; she looks bitchy, you don't even need to give her dialogue to know it.
