In light of the "Rose = #18 Rumor..." post, what was the craziest thing that someone has told you about DB that was totally untrue.

I guess the craziest one was that Chi chi was really a Saiyan. I know a bunch of people actually believed that for awhile.

Dragonball AF, anyone?

Well, crazy rumor that lives to this day, and I have no frikkin' idea why, is that there is a Goku/Chi-Chi sex scene in the original Japanese version after the Cell Games... I remember hearing it back in like '97, but it was recently brought up by an ub3r n00b friend for mine.

There was also that one that said that Pizza girl with Mr. Satan during the Cell saga was Videl's mother.

I agree with Deus and still say the craziest one is that Chi-Chi is actually a Saiyajin sent to Earth by Freeza to spy. That's just really, well, stupid.

Waaaaay back in the day before the movies were so prevelant, the big one I knew was that in one of the many, many, many Broli movies... he uses the DragonBalls to wish Nappa & Raditz back as kinda like Hellspawn minions/henchmen to battle Goku.

Well, there's kinda movie 12 where everyone comes back... if only for a frame, each...

One I remember hearing back in 2000 was that Freddie Prinze Jr. was going to join Funi's cast for the dub. God I'm glad that wasn't true.

A rumor went around at my school that Fasha was Bardock's wife, I actually believed it for like a week. But one of the wierdest I've heard is that Lord Slug was Piccolo Daimou's brother.

I remember hearing all those rumors. I think the one I remember most is hearing that the Garlic Jr saga was going to air right after the Freeza saga on Toonami. I think this was like in early 2000 or something. This was back when I knew nothing other than Toonami.

I've also heard that Goku/Chi-chi sex scene rumor. It may have gotten started due to the fact that there actually is a hentai doujinshi of that scene. Its quite funny actually.

Yeah, you know, three eyes and stuff. Because that is a lot more far-fetched than flying, shapeshifting cats.

If that's the female member from Bardock's team then yes. I've only seen the English dubs of DBZ which sucks for me. Oh, I forgot to mention one of the dumbest rumors I've heard. Raditz was Super Saiyan 3 at the beginning of DBZ, but he dyed his hair black to fool Goku and Piccolo. Not to mention the one of Krillin being a reincarnation of the six star ball. And I kept hearing that #19 was Chiaotzu's original dad.

I had nearly forgotten about that one! Some nameless DBZ site claimed that right before the Cell games, Kaio-Sama senses Goku using the Kaio-Ken technique somewhere, and accidently peeks in on them having sex. They even went as far as to claim that the original scene of Kaio was cut, and added to when Trunks fights Freeza on Earth. Of course, I realized the truth when I saw the original on DVD...silly people.

I remember one guy was completely convinced that Videl's mother was an alien, which was supposed to explain why she was able to learn to fly so fast and become stronger than her father.

Those kinda scenes would never be shown in a kid's show, even in Japan!
