Budokai 3 - I won't give up until the very end! [Fandub]

This is my fandub of the opening from Budokai 3.

The footage was downloaded from the Daizex "Video" section.

Lyrics:

Here we go through the clouds and even farther, the world's more than what we had imagined.
Our souls can roam together in this everlasting peace, it's just us.

Evil people, just appearing and ruining.
They're all about taking over all of us.
They're all just thinking, Fight! Fight! Fight!
I'm gonna be the Earth's protector, that's right!

That's right, I wont stop fighting right until the very end,
even if it's just only me and my closest friends!

Let's stand up and fight!
We can stop this evil plight!
We'll show them, just us and nobody else...

Let's show 'em, how we can finally win with courage!
Just our courage... For the world!

Enjoy.

Wow, I think I'm the only one who has tried an English Version of the song.

I love the lyrics, and your voice sounds like you could be a good singer.

However,

You should put more emotion into it. Don't be afraid! GET LOUD! GET OUT THERE! DON'T HOLD BACK!

All in all, a nice try, but show more emotion next time, okay?

If you could get someone who could sing, this could be awesome.

Edit: I just listened to a little more because I thought maybe I was a little too harsh, but it sounds like Popeye singing at 32 seconds.

Glad to see someone on many internetz with enough balls to be honest...

I understand the perspective of telling everybody that they've got talent, but honestly, honesty is much better criticism than false praises.

I even tested this before, and I posted some (intentionally) terrible drawings on some other forum, and people told me they were great...

Ah, glad to see I wasn't the only one who wasn't too fond of the attempt.

Neither was I, but I was just astounded by Tanooki's ballsy-ness. Furanki, I will say that you need some work on the vocals, but you are obviously putting effort into your works. I will respect that to no end, my friend.

Honestly, I can sound like that when I'm not putting enough air and volume into it, but I can be a halfway decent singer when I put more into it.

No bullshit. Use some more of that courage you were singing about.

Well, at least the lyrics came out well. I guess.

Yeah, I don't know why, but I'm to actually get loud...

Well, I can see what you mean. I thought it was decent. but, there's always room for improvement.

Well, if I could find someone who could that I would try to find them.
Also, thanks for just straight up telling me it sucked. I don't want to be told I did great when I could use a lot of improvement.

Yeah, you're right about that.

I usually sound fine (not amazing, just good enough that it doesn't sound bad like this) at school in chorus. I guess I do lack the courage for doing this at home.

I'm actually glad you guys take the time to critique it, most people on YouTube will go "OMG, awesome." or "YOU FUCKING SUCK, LOLZ".

Unlike you guys, which if it sucked, you don't bring it up, in an asshole-ish way.

I'm going to be brutally honest.. you can't sing, you waver up and down in a monotonous droning voice that isn't even close to matching the melody, it sounds awful.

I didn't mind the lyrics though.

That's a little harsh but I concur.

Yeah... I'm pretty much with the rest of everyone else here. In addition, pretty much every piece of voice work I've ever heard you perform is--in my opinion--more or less god-awful and a pain to listen to.

You know, as I recall, someone here--I think it was KaiserNeko, but I'm not sure--was working on a series of videos that gave tips on voice acting and the like. Perhaps it's something you could look into? I'm sure there's potential there, even if it's not being realized as of yet.

Geez guys, a bit too harsh here. :? Well, there's definitely room for improvement. I thought it was okay. Just put more emotion, and add a little more of a vocal range that's more higher pitched, since the BGM track is upbeat. But the lyrics and rhythm were kick-ass and to the beat of the BGM track!!! :D

I really liked it, but it sounded like you were 'singing along' rather than just singing, you skipped a syllable or two, and you're trying too hard to be quiet. If you have to, wait for a time when nobody else is home and belt it out as loud as you possibly can :)

I can tell that you have a good voice, and you should definitely try again :D

So we should be handing out false praises then?

I can't get a good critique for my artwork because nobody has the balls to tell me what's wrong with it and what I need to improve. It really pisses me off to no end... :?

Well, not necessarily. But just saying "needs major improvement" goes a long, more sympathetic way than just saying a flat-out "it seriously sucks" to me.
