Do you think Budokai4 will see the light?

I personaly dont, I'm quite sure I read in an interview that Budokai 3 was going to be the last Budokai game.

Well it would be the natural order of things that a great game would have a sequel...I like the current Budokai thought. Iam satisfied, Iam not looking for a part 4 right now.

He didn't say it was going to be the last Budokai game, his exact statement was that it would be the last DragonBall Z Budokai. Many people are speculating that this means they are considering a GT Budokai, based off the feed back on Budokai 3's GT elements.

Yea...but if a part 4 as made it would be a sequel to 3. Like Rocky 4 is the sequel to part 3, it wouldn't be the sequel to part 1 right? it wouldn't make sence.

An all Shonen Jump fighter has been a dream of mine ever since I first heard about the manga several years ago. If it were tag-team, I'd always use either Goku & Yusuke, Goku & Luffy, or Goku & Kinniku Mantaro.

A DBGT Budokai, if done right, could be very good... give the option to play as either the older, DBGT, or the younger, DBZ version.

The hunt for the Black Star DBs across the universe could have a bit more of a roleplaying element, with you choosing where you head next. You could choose to land on a planet with no DB, in search of battles to build EXP/capsules to gank/items to locate. The same could be used for Hell, though the objective there would be to find a way out of Hell (you'd eventually meet up with Piccolo).

The story beyond that could essentially remain the same... except with a bit more time for some of the characters that didn't get any, such as Piccolo.

Bebi could be used along the lines of "Babidi's Mind Control"... but for any character. Wouldn't it be neat to see Bebi possess Cell or Freeza? However, you would get the best bonuses with the Saiyans, particularly Vegita (or Goku?) with the possibility of that Golden Oozaru form (previously only seen in those hoaxed B3 pics).

All of the Dragons (beyond 1-Star and 4-Star) are pretty useless, so the battles with them could simply be slightly modified versions of 1-Star or 4-Star, with their specific ultimates whatever 'ultimate' move the Dragon used in the show.

While I haven't played Budokai 3 yet, there are a few things I can think of that I'd like to see. First Teen Goten and GT Teen Trunks should be playable. They are also able to fuse into Teen Gotenks. I agree with Endishiki about the dragons, but I think the Ice/3-Star (NSS) Dragon was half decent so he could be used. And I defently include the bodyguard Goku fought on the first planet should be included (he seemed like a good character. Shame he wasn't used more). I'd also like to see Slug, Jenumba (sp?) and Tapion feature. Granted I haven't seen the movies Slug is in but I think he'd be a good choice. And Jenumba and Tapion were both good characters IMO. But at the moment I can't think of anything else.

They need to come out with a patch/download for Budokai 3, so we can get the rest of the movie characters!

That would be good. Alterativly they could release it on a disk which scans your card and "updates the file" with said characters.

A Dragon Ball GT Budokai? That dont really get me happy i mean Dragon Ball Z is the best....and budokai 3 have Enough GT things...the only intresting thing in a GT it will be Baby-Vegita but other Chars (Starting for Vegeta with that Bad Cuthair) of GT sagas dont Instrest me so much....
Really.... i hope for more budokai Z Series and get Better....
1 was....ok
2 was....Great
3 is and will be the best ^_^

maybe a Dragon ball RPG with a new hole history.... Dont know i hope more "Original Stories" For next games....

Definitely. Fuck what I keep reading on other boards... I loved all the "What-If?" stuff in the second game (Majin Freeza cracks me up... them having no idea they were even under Babidi's control), and some of the stuff in DBZ3 is neat, as well.

Pfeh, 3-Star could freeze. 4-Star could burn. But 4-Star has enough momentuous significance to stay. Modify 4-Star's model slightly, create 3-Star exclusively for a battle, and leave it like that.

The concept of more "What If" stories actually would fit better than the standard GT storyline... you could give more time to the characters who got the bum end (most of them).

You could have the following characters with storylines...

Goku
Uub
Vegita
Gohan
Goten
Piccolo
Pan
Trunks
Bebi (with an actual ending where he reigns supreme)

You could also have Yamcha, Tenshinhan, and Kuririn busy with their own threats... possibly battling against villains returned from Hell since, at this point, they should be leagues stronger than many of the villains we saw.

Indeed. Having new characters, transformations, fusions, and storylines that are part of the official Dragonball experience as opposed to just in fanfics (note that I said 'official', not 'canon') makes them infinitely cooler.
