Favourite Character?

Here's a simple question I don't see brought up on these boards much.
Pretty self explanatory: Who's your favourite character, and why?
For me, it's Son Goku. He just represents everything about Dragonball that I love. The sense of adventure, the carefree world, and let's not forget he/it can switch from this, to completely badass at any time.
What about you guys?

Chris Sabat. He represents Dragon Ball perfectly.

The great thing about DragonBall is all of the characters have their own loveable qualities. I can't say I have a particular favorite, aside from maybe Son Gokû, but even then it's hardly means I don't love the others.

Yeah, Goku. He just is Dragonball.

Other than him Super Buu. My favourite villain, because he was a proper monster, but was still fun because he had personality too.

Saiyan characters - Son Goku, Vegeta, future Trunks and adult Gohan.
Humans - Yamcha and Tien.
Aliens and androids - Frieza, Piccolo, Zarbon, all Ginyu Force members, Cell, #16, #17, and Super Buu.

I don't have any particular favorite.I enjoy all the characters in Dragonball though if I had to chose I would say either Piccolo Jr. or Son Goku as they were in my favorite fights in the series.
And Piccolo Jr. has an awesome back-story.

Krillin, because he's an interesting Mr. Satan. And he's one of the few characters we see truly transform in terms of personality, next to maybe Piccolo or Yamcha.

Gohan from high-school onward, and his lovely wife/girlfriend, Videl.

They're just fun to watch. There's no OMG HUEG LIEK ECKSBAWKS power struggles, or anything like that. Just two kids bonding over crimefighting, flight training, and the fact that they have deadbeat dads (Although one of those dads is actually kinda, y'know, awesome and is actually there for his offspring, unlike a certain series mascot...). Also, the fact that Gohan is a gigantic nerd really helps me connect with him. And as for Videl, she's everything a girl should be. As creepy as that sounds, it makes sense. She's polite. She isn't a slut. She's got a wicked sense of right and wrong. And she'd do whatever she could to help those she loves. Not to mention she's quite easy on the eyes as well.

Plus, at the risk of losing my masculinity card, they're just so cute together!

Honorable Mentions? Krillin, Goten, Mark, and Piccolo.

I have a feeling you wouldn't like the "Mr. Cell" fanfic. Goku's even more of a dick and things don't turn out well for Mark.

I have a feeling you wouldn't like the "Mr. Cell" fanfic. Goku's even more of a dick and things don't turn out well for Mark.

Heh, well I hate most fanfics anyways, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Goku is definitely my favorite. Gohan comes in at number 2, despite the greatness that was Cell Game era SSJ2 Gohan. I just didn't care for the Great Saiyaman. Gohan loses some serious points for that. The rest of my top 5 are Vegeta, Piccolo, and Cell.

Future Gohan! I know, I know he is in like one TV special but he was so cool! He is a lot cooler than Buu/GT Gohan if you ask me. *Hides behind a rock*

Back in middle school my answer would have been Future Trunks because we have the same haircut! I know that's a silly reason but he was still cool regardless of that fact.

....What a hard question though, Its hard to really pick just one.

It is hilarious though.

It's hard to narrow it down to one favorite for me. Although my avatar is a good hint. Why? I really like her character design and even though she doesn't get much in a way of character development, I like her personality. Definitely an underused character though.

Hmm... I've always been a huge Goku fan, so I would have to say he is my favorite character... He always managed to push himself beyond his limits and it was always a fun ride to watch.

Vegeta gets an honorable mention however (Well... as long as it isn't Cell arc Vegetable...) I always thought he was awesome during the Saiyan and Namek arcs, where he showed some true cunning and always thought things out.

From what I've seen of Dragon Ball, I would also have to say Tenshinhan is another character I like. He starts out as a villain, but see's the dishonor of his ways, and he just wants to live for the fight, ala your typical Kung Fu flick hero!
