No new posts since your last visit

Ok, this thing annoys the hell out of me...

When I click on the "go to the newest post" icon, I get this message:

"No new posts since your last visit"

Why it's always like this? The new posts icon is orange, and it means there are new posts... So, why it says "no new posts" and makes me scrol down a page till I see somthing new?!

I wish you could fix this annoying bug

Do you use an AOL browser?

This always happened to me when I had AOL.

I'm using FireFox, and I seem to be having the opposite problem. Threads are still showing as "orange" and undread even after I read them. I have to use the 'Mark All Topics Read' link if I want to clear them.

I have the same problem, when I'm not clicking on the adresses above forum sections and using button back in firefox

Sometimes if I stay on the forum with no activity for a bit (I mainly browse at work), it marks all posts as Read. This really sucks when it happens on Monday and I'm trying to catch up on three days of postings.

While we're here... I typically have to restart the computer I'm using every forty minutes (You can thank FreedomScientific for that bit of $800+ hostaging). Whenever I leave the board at all, it marks everything as read... and it takes more than forty minutes to read certain threads at times... and there is the dreaded catch-up (Since I disappeared for three months and all...).
I was just going to leave it and count it as a consequence of my software, but the thread was here.
