It came out a couple of days ago. I did not see any sites link this. Better late than never to talk about it though, right  .

We've mentioned the soundtrack time and time again on the website and podcast, actually.

Personally, I opted to group it with my "POWER OF DREAMER" CD single, so I won't be getting it in for another couple weeks. Just isn't a huge priority for me right now, and I've got enough other things taking up my content-creation/review time :P.

So, no word on the runtime yet? And do we know if each track is only going to be a single piece, or is it going to be like previous BGM releases, where several pieces make up a track on the CD? Still gonna pick this up either way, and hopefully manage to catch up on my DBK BGM documentation...

Hmmm, judging by the samples, one of my favorite tunes from Kai isn't on there! The little jingle that plays when Goku starts out on Serpent Road at the end of Episode 4.

Perhaps it's the second half of one of the other tunes and it's just not covered by the samples... Hm.

Sorry, KaiserNeko, it's not there. The CD is only about 53:15, and that and a couple of other little jingles seem to be missing. The major stuff is all there, though, and overall the CD is pretty good. It's Kai music, and there aren't any real surprises here, but it's enjoyable.

Neat, I'll probably pick this up. Sometimes the Kai music is really overshadowed by the voices so it will be great just to hear the standalone OST.
It's nowhere near as great as the original music but there are a few tracks I enjoy.

You'd be suprised, I was. The music sounds much better when it's on its own than it does when it's in the actual show
Dragon Soul ~Orchestral Ver.~ is fucking incredible.

Yes, damn, I love that tune. "Premonition of a grand adventure" is nice too plus the next episode preview. I guess lots of them are neat to have, but apart from those three nothing really stands out to me yet.

What are the three special tracks? They don't sound like the same kind of music, are they maybe proto tracks for the Frieza arc?

The three bonus tracks seem more like samples to me (especially with their 30 sec-like duration and fade-out), and they're much like old video game tracks, which makes me think perhaps they were rejected tracks.

Not ALL tracks from the show are featured, I would have liked to have the "Goku leaves Kaio's planet" hope track and the "Saibaiman train on rocks" jumpy-dancy track. Maybe in Vol. 2, who knows?

Great soundtrack anyway, you realize how amazing the tracks are when taken out of the show, without voice and sounds to cover. High quality orchestral stuff! But I can't remember any use of "Win Tough Battle" (which seems to be a song turned into instrumental for the OST, like "Over The Star"). It hasn't been used? Perhaps it is for an upcoming opening/ending, or the Super Saiyan insert song or something?
