I'm thinking of canceling my preorder on amazon for my Dragon Box and use rightstuff but how do they get it early?

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

RightStuf is the official FUNimation store, so I suspect the instant something is pressed they get it.

I've gotten, Rin too, One Piece box sets weeks in advance before.

I always figured they want to get it to you by the release date, so to guarantee that, they ship some things early. I don't know, I could be wrong.

They didn't seem to get my DB season 1 early, since I had to cancel and litterly tell them I can buy it down the street.

I got my copy early. I practically get everything early from them.

The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

My dbox preorder was the first thing I've every done through right stuff.

I was confused during the order because it was telling me I had to pay tax. Turns out, I live a mere 2 hours from them. I'm hoping to be the first to get it. If so, I'll spend the day posting pics and answering questions.

I have preordered DBox 1 (and I will on the many DBoxes to come) on rightstuff and canceled the one on amazon I had. I am hoping to get it early.

He's right, not only he and I, but literally EVERYBODY I know at some other One Piece Forums who preorder their boxed sets at Right Stuff get them early.

Wow that's pretty sweet! I can't wait to get my early DBox. Gonna do a comparison between the Ultimate Uncut Special Edition (only have the first disc), Remastered, and DBox. I wonder if you guys would be interested in that.

You really do learn something new every day (Rightstuf being the official Funi store). I was impressed that my Dragon Ball season 1 came early, as did my School Rumble 2nd Semester, but now I know why. Seems relatively obvious in hindsight, but I never thought about it.
Not a problem.

That place deserves the title of "Best place to get anime stuff early" award.

Yeah, this is how it is. If you preorder something, they'll ship it a certain time before the release date so it reaches you by the time it's out. Of course, it only works if you live in the US. I live in New Zealand, preordered One Piece, saw it was shipped a couple of weeks in advance, but it takes so long to get to me that it was already past the release date. Still, better than nothing.

Well that stinks but at least you're positive about it. At least we know that they want it to you as soon as possible.

Anyone have an idea of how early they ship things?

Just want to know so I have an idea of when to put the extra money into the bank. For the Dragonbox that is. ;)

My last One Piece one was shipped about 10 days before the official release.

As much as I'd like to get it much earlier, I'm not willing to pass up my $55 purchase of Dragon Box from Amazon (with free shipping) for a $79.99 purchase. I pre-ordered Dragon Ball Season 1 from Amazon as well and I got it the day that it came out. It shipped out a few days before that. I was satisfied. enough. It's because stores have the merchandise and they hold off on it until a certain date. But in the back they have it. I know this is fact with phones and things like that. So I'm sure that it's how you get things early. Once they get it, they get it and ship it out. I don't know, my theory though.

On Right Stuf, it's like $59.99 without GotAnime. Also, any order over 50 dollars gets a free shipping option.

Oh cuz I just quickly looked it up and it said $79.99. Okay, so $59.99 free shipping. I got $55 free shipping. Plus I got DB Season 1 and 2 for like...$25 each or something?

If you would have caught the sale, you could have gotten it for 47 dollars. I got my set even cheaper than that.
