No major information yet, but clearly just a complete Season Set collection.

You'd think FUNimation would make a stink about it. I guess they're just not doing it.

I think it might just be an store shipping of all nine sets, rather than an actual FUNimation product.

I was thinking either that, or a Madman-only packaging.

Nah, I'd say it will be a Madman set-up with it's own box, like they did with the Dragon Ball collections and Dragon Ball Z movies.

Nothing outstanding, but thought I'd post it anyway.

Would be pretty cool to see what sort of box-art they would use. Probably just a compilation of the cover images.

Just for an average for people who don't want to do the math, that's around $43AUS a set, rather than $60.

Chances are it will also be a fair bit cheaper at JB Hi-Fi.

EDIT: Oh, here we go!

Love the cover... although it makes absolutely no sense!

JB Hi-Fi are usually pretty specific, and will say if it's in a box, so since it just says "54 DVD Set," I assume it will be more like a big pile of disc holders in a massive case.

Wow! I like that box art! :D It makes no sense to use it with DBZ, but it's awesome nonetheless.

That cover is pretty awesome, though. It has kid Goku 2 times, Dragonball adult Goku, DBZ Goku, and random characters spread throughout. What else could a DB fan want?
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

They should have used that art for a Dragonball complete set.

Was thinking the same thing. Assuming they're just doing one massive casing, I would've thought that since the series is significantly longer than DB, that they'd at least split it into two cases and stuff both of 'em in a box or a la something like the James Bond set... except with the episodes in order, that is :P.

It's also listed at DVD Crave for $332.71, coming to around $36.88 "per season" compared to the $50-$60 they retail at by themselves, making for a saving of some $160-odd.

I'm actually tempted to buy this. I know the upcoming Dragon Boxes are going to be a significantly better product, but to be able to get the entire series (well, except for the bits they cut from the top and bottom :P) in one hit without having to import from the US or pay whatever exorbitant price they would have slapped on them if Madman end up releasing them here is pretty tempting.

I hope Madman does up posters for the release of the cover art and sells them at Supanova like they sometimes do. :P

The box art is kind of cool but whack at the same time.

The art itself is nice, but it looks like a bootleg video game cover with everything else on it.

And the gigantic rating on the FRONT of the cover just seems tacky.

Well I don't mind the ratings, since you don't have to cross examine them to see the rating. It doesn't make sense to me that America is so uptight about ratings, yet make them so inconspicuous on the case.

How is America uptight about ratings? There are ratings, and if a movie is rated R and you're under 17 you can't buy the ticket without a parent. But other than that, the ratings only serve as guidelines basically. I don't think of America being uptight about ratings at all. Then again, I've only lived in America and I don't have a frame of reference so who knows.

Sorry, I didn't mean any offence by it. But in terms of sexual content, America can be pretty uptight. Violence, not so much.

Was watching Taken, and thought, you can electrocute a man by sticking nails in his leg in a PG-13 movie, but you can't drop the F bomb in a sexual nature?

I just meant that they were kind of strict when rating a movie... how well they enforce the ratings, I don't know. But I feel if you're going to give a movie and R rating, it should be easy to tell if the movie is R.
