How did the moon re-appear?

How did the moon re-appear?

In one of the tenkiechi budokai tournaments from Dragon Ball, Master Roshi blew up the moon while Goku was a Great Ape so he would return back to his normal human self. However, in DBZ Episode #8, there was a moon that Gohan looked at and was able to transform. Piccolo than blew up the moon (again) so Gohan would turn to his normal self. So, if Master Roshi blew up the enitre moon, why was there still a moon in DBZ?

When Goku became a disciple of Kami's, he had his tail removed so that Kami could rebuild the moon. This happened prior to Dragonball Z, pre-23rd Tenkaichi Budokai.
