Raging Blast Question

Post by Piccolo Daimao » Tue Jan 05, 2010 1:32 pm

So, from Budokai Tenkaichi 3 to Raging Blast, the Blast 2s have been renamed "Super Attacks" and the Ultimate Blasts "Ultimate Attacks".

But what about the Blast 1s?

Blast 1s are also "Super Attacks."

They can be mapped to a direction on the right analog stick, like other super attacks. Hell, you could replace all of the Blast 2 type attacks with Blast 1 type attacks if you wanted to (but this mostly happens the other way around).

Could someone take me through the whole attack customizing and mapping business? And how many moves you can have during battle? Because Goku has, like, 5 So-So Attacks, 5 Super Attacks and 1 Ultimate Attack (3 if you count all the Spirit Bombs). Can a player use all his moves in one battle?

Alright, each character has some extra Super Attacks that they can use. These attack are all mapped to the right thumb stick, one to the up direction, another to the left, and so on. Because of this, you can only have four Super Attacks at once (like how in the previous games how you had four moves including both blast1s and blast2s).

The Super Attacks are switched/equipped similar to the capsule system in earlier games, so you can swap them out for other moves or even assign the same move to multiple slots.

However, each character can only have one ultimate attack (except for Goku, who can change his ultimate attack by equipping the items A Bit of Spirit for a Large Spirit Bomb and Everyone's Spirit for a Super Spirit Bomb).

Here's a video of it.
