Question about "Omega Shenron"

Post by SaiyamanMS » Sun Dec 12, 2004 8:23 pm

Hmm... well after my SSJ5 Gogeta topic I came up with another GT related question, we all know that "Omega Shenron" was created when Yi Xing Long ate the Dragonballs, my question is, If one of the other Dragons ate the Dragonballs would they be able to become "Omega Shenron"? Well... whats your opinion on this topic?

Yeah I think they would. I mean all Omega Shenron is, is just a dragon will all the other dragons' powers.

*twitch* Keep in mind that "Synn" and "Omega" Shenron are both dub names. He's only called Yi Xing Long in the original.

I suppose it should be noted that Goku hated the Suu Xing Qui (I think I got that right...) and gained a power up...

I'm aware of that, but I didn't really have any real way of getting my question across without refering to "Omega Shenron" (which is why I put it into quotation marks)

It was supposed to be "Four Star Ball". Not good at Chinese, I am.

All the other Dragons would be able to gain the same power up he got. But "Omega" is a dub title.

Well, actually, he becomes Super Yi Xing Long after he gets all of the DBs. So that's the distinction.

As for the DB name. "qiu" = Chinese word for "ball," "qui" = ...Latin/French word for "who"

I guess Super and Omega are basically the same thing.

Well...Super means 'above' in Latin, while Omega is just the final letter of the Greek alphabet, it doesn't really says whether Omega Shenron is the strongest or not.

But in 'normal' use, I guess they basically mean the same thing ^_~

Keeping in the theme, is it possible that Suu Xing Long was the most liberal with Goku (I.E., being a fair fighter, being honest, and even saving Goku's ass) because he was born from Son Gohan Ojisan's ball?

EDIT BY JULIAN: Ojii-san ("grandfather"), not oji-san ("uncle").

Whoops. Typo. (remembers the "Oji no Bill" jokes from his Japanese class...)

It's just Syn. One n. And before even Baby Saga was released here, it was Sin. But sometimes I have trouble remembering the Chinese or Japanese name and don't feel like/have time to look up the chart here on Daizex, so I just use the dub name.
