Sparking! (DBZ3 Money-Making Capsule)
What the hell is this "Sparking!" cap that I hear everyone talking about?

Actually, 'Sparking!' and so forth affect money gained from the world tournament. 'We Gotta Power' and the like affect experience, I believe.SonGokuGT wrote: It's a series of capsules that allow you to get more experience points.

Just uses the 'Chibi Gohan Money Trick' and gains $50k every couple of minutes
Whoops! got that one mixed up! Thanks for the correction, I haven't played it in weeks. By the way, what is the Chibi Gohan trick? and how do you get the ultimate "Sparking" capsule?MajinVejitaXV wrote:Actually, 'Sparking!' and so forth affect money gained from the world tournament. 50,000 Zeni is nothing. When I was still buying things, I needed the full 999,999 (or close to) in order to sit and buy things (especially when some items cost 150,000 a pop).
My best best was using Sparking!!!!!!! with Yi Xing Long on the Adept difficulty of World Tournament. 150,000 for winning, I think. I'd try Advanced, but the CPU always found a way to cheat their way to a win on the 4th stage
.
I'd fly backwards to one of the open corners (NOT up against a wall), and just keep pressing -> + X. He starts out with 6 Ki levels, which is enough to teleport, be teleported against, and re-teleport to knock out of the ring. And win. Without doing a damn thing. Or needing a single technique capsule.

You should've tried that strategy on the Cell Games arena; no cheap ring outs, and no restrictions on techniques/fusions/etc. Of course I found the easiest way to make money was my GameShark.VegettoEX wrote:My best best was using Sparking!!!!!!! with Yi Xing Long on the Adept difficulty of World Tournament. 150,000 for winning, I think. For "Cheat" should I read, "I tried my cheesy tactic but the the PS2 teleported more times than me and my butt went flying???"VegettoEX wrote: My best best was using Sparking!!!!!!! with Yi Xing Long on the Adept difficulty of World Tournament. 150,000 for winning, I think. Or for "Cheat" is in "I got trapped against a wall where the camera angle couldn't tell me if left/right was backwards/forwards and I got mauled"
Or "Cheat" as in "I lost ANOTHER Dragon Rush!!!"
Just joking, but it IS especially grafifying on the game to Beat the Opp in a Dragon Rush or teleport more times than the PS2. (Especially when it's Yamcha who does nothing BUT Rush)
Strangely just wondering....IS it worth it teleporting like mad if you're not in the world tourney, becasue your power drains like mad from multi-porting and you don't get that much damage in. You might as well just port once and if it doesn't work just take the damge and beat the hell out of your opp when he's powering up because of the energy drain.

Personally, i favour using Shenron equipped with the Concentration cap, (which halves your ki used while dodging/teleporting), and the Sparking x5 cap and try and go for gold in either Cell games or Adept.
Alternatively, try using Broly with Sparking x5 and the "Fried Pork" cap.
When your getting slammed by multiple Dragon Rushes or cheap shots, use that cap. Its especially useful in the fourth round!
But i guess that could go for any character...
