Planet busting Attacks

Boy am I glad to see level trashing attacks back in B3, and especially with the inclusion of the "knock guy off screen" damage which can be done to a level (i.e. Capsule Corp level) it look fabulous.

However my question I put to you is about the entirely new, what I've come to call, "World Blaster" attacks. These are the attacks, usually ultimates, where an animation of the Earth is shown after completing the move usually with a huge explosion or beam included, Like Gohan's Super Kamehameha.

The best of these I've seen so far is Vegeta's Majin Ultimate where it looks like about 1/3rd of the planet erupts in flame (and just to rub it in Vegeta has 3 World Blasters, bad ass dude

, where I have only found one other so far, Gohan)

My question (finally) to all of you is are there any others I have missed (aside from the 4 I've mentioned) and what are your favourite ones?

Cell's Genkidama, the Recoom Bomber, Buu's anger explosion (I don't know the English name so I translated the attack's French name), Broly's ultimate (I don't know what it's called)... There are a few of them alright.

Fun fact: Recoome Bomber shows the Ginyu Force Logo flashing in the dust cloud in space ^_^ Very funny.

Fat Buu's should show an Angry Face in the clouds =P

3. SSj4 Gogeta's 100x Big Bang Kamehameha
4. Teen Gohan's Father-Son Kamehameha
5. Gohan's Super Kamehameha
6. Recoome's Fighting Bomber
7. Frieza's Death Ball
8. Cell's Spirit Bomb
9. Broly's Gigantic Meteor
10. Bardock's Spirit of Saiyans
11. Majin Buu's Angry Explosion
12. Super Buu's Final Flash/Super Kamehameha (assumed)
13. Kid Buu's Warp Kamehameha (assumed)
14. Omega Shenron's Negative Energy Ball

Hmm....I think that's all.

Goku's does it

Smashed poeple with SSB multiple times and not seen it (prolly due to KO) but not pulled off the normal SB so wouldn't know

Well, there are a few limitations to WHEN you see the animation as well. First you have to win the 'power struggle' thingy for the full animation. Secondly you have to be on a destructable arena. An already destroyed arena wont give you another world explosion animation, you only get the one.

I think the BIGGEST explosion is Omega Shenron's Minus Energy Ball. It's cool that they have different degrees of 'boom' to them. It's also cool that they even went so far as to create a space view of Namek as well.

You guys forgot about Nappa's Bakuhatsu-ha (I forget what it's called in the game) I thought it was appropiate that he get a massive attack like that, since he demonstrated it in the anime.

As far as semi-planet busting ultimates go, my pick of the bunch has to be Bardock's Spirit Of Sayains.

The way he just flies at the opponent and absolutely SMASHES their gut into oblivion is brilliant. Not to mention that top-down punch he delivers if you win the full animation.

Fair enough , he isnt the strongest of all the characters, but i feel the animators show him giving it his all. Just like Bardock i guess

Coola's ultimate, "Supernova," has a particularly nice 'giant explosion viewed from space' look. Haven't seen Yi Xing Long's ultimate, yet, so I can't compare it to that.

Also, is 'Omega Shenron's' voice like that in the dub too, with the freaky distortion? That's kinda neat, in a very "for the US version" sort of way.

Yeah, Omega Shenron has the same voice effect, which I still find weird... As for the explosion comparison... I'm about to get ready for school, but I'll check when I have free time.
