Vegeta and the egg (2004)

Post by Kyoko~chan » Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:37 pm

Hey everyone! This is a very old picture I made years ago on an oekaki board website and due to my limited knowledge of computers back then, I had no other way to keep it or share it with anyone except to print out a copy. Now that I finally own a scanner (better late than never, I suppose) I now have the chance to share this picture with all of you! Not my best work I'll admit but I was quite proud of it and still am to this day!

This little drawing is based on a mission in the GBA game “Legacy of Goku 2” in which Vegeta has to move dinosaur eggs to a safer location while trying to avoid some baddies in order to destroy a generator. The idea came to me one day and I figured I’d give it a try…and add a tail on him just for fun ^_^

Enjoy!

Woah, Vegeta actually had to do that in Legacy of Goku II? That's so out of character.

Whoever you were controlling had to do it, and the dialogue changed dramatically. With Gohan it's all politely done and the dinosaur thanks you, Piccolo is rougher about it but still somewhat polite, and Vegeta's a great big jerkass and the dinosaurwill never forgive you. Vegeta gets some kind of line to himself about "having a son is making me soft" as meager justification, which I think is hilarious since this scene isn't long after the part where Vegeta doesn't bother saving Bulma and baby Trunks from the plane exploding (which they cut out of the game).

Shit, that is brutal. I can see why they cut it.
